“The flavor … oh the flavor. Their cuisine is prestige! We had the Jones n’ Hot Chicken sandwich which was so full of flavor with a kick of just right amount of spice; the jalapeño fries were the bomb and last but definitely not least the sweet potato biscuit is to die for! These biscuits melt in your mouth. So good, I had to bring some back to Houston with me. I highly recommend Chick N’ Jones you won’t be disappointed.“

“I come to this particular Chick-fil-A a lot. Like an unhealthy amount of times. Everything about this location is perfect. My only small discrepancy is the wait time. Sometimes I feel like it takes a long while to order, but also it takes a while to actually get the food. Like even when it's not busy I feel like the wait is kind of longer than it should be. Seems like at this location they prioritize Uber eats orders over take out.“

“Disclaimer: I am not the audience for ordering food and picking it up from a box without interacting with human beings. I'm not there yet. So although I'd heard of Soulfly, I wasn't particularly interested in visiting. Nevertheless, was celebrating my mom's birthday and the birthday girl wanted to come here after our wine tasting next door.

I'm glad the experience was not as impersonal as I anticipated. Partly because I just didn't feel like sticking to the script but also I couldn't get that doggone pickup situation together. LOL I had so many issues with the code to retrieve my order, it was seriously comical. I did observe others come in, put in the code, get the food and go though.

You do have to order on the kiosk but I was able to ask the manager if I could order it like this or that, which he happily made note of for my particular order. There was a little wait for having ordered onsite - things would have felt quicker had I ordered online from offsite then stopped in to pickup when notified the order was ready. I had the wings and cajun rice. Now what surprised me was that chicken! Ok, Soulfly! Very nicely seasoned, good crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I was impressed considering my expectations. It reminded me of those good chinese takeout chicken wings. Nice surprise. The cajun rice was just okay for me.

The challenges to me coming back are that the price is just high for what you get. I understand there is a cost for "convenience" so it is what it is. However adding $6.54 to the order when I had to do the work to place it then pick it up is.... I don't and won't mind continuing to do things the old school way to pay a more reasonable price for fried chicken in other nearby neighborhoods. Also, no "convenient" parking. I feel like this spot is more geared towards people strolling on the street or for food delivery drivers who will be on a moped only.

Overall for the chicken and helpfulness of the onsite staff, I give it a 3.5, not just a 3.“

“I love this location being close to home but they really need to figure something out with the parking lady out front harassing guests. This chick fil a is legit the only business open in the building on the whole block yet you can’t park for 5 minutes out front to get food. The garage is $8! The city should rezone the parking in front for 15 minutes Max or something. How are business supposed to survive here. They are losing a lot of business. We left today because the parking lady was harassing us. Meanwhile 6 police cars parked out front getting lunch, a city bus parked in the no parking zone to get lunch, 2 usps trucks parked in a no parking zone to get lunch. Are they special? The street is dead! Let the public people get their lunch.“

“I definitely don't understand what's going on at the Tropical Chicken branch on 8th Little Havana. I constantly buy the Family Duo, with pork, and it's been approximately 2 months since the container of pork is practically 3/4 full and today it's gone. I bought it again, the container of beans was practically broth, they are reducing the portions a lot, I don't know if it is by order of the manager of the establishment or it is the employees who serve smaller and smaller portions, in addition to not giving out the burnt ripe ones, that is a constant in that branch, I buy it because it gets me out of trouble by not having time to cook, but they already leave a lot to be desired. “The food is good but the people is a different story, I when to purchase a 14 piece meal for my kids and my self. and I was doing a favor for a friend, since I was going for my self, as he asked me to buy for her a 5 piece meal, everything was OK until a lady came to the register ( think it was the manager) I was using a coupon for each of the meals, I explained to her that one was for my home and the other one was for a friend but she kept saying I only can used one, again I explained that it was not for me the small meal why I'm going to get a 5 piece of I already was getting 14 pieces. just make to separate orders, but this small minded woman keep repeating her self that I can't, if my friend was there she still will have to do a second order... So no I will not recommend the location on 54st Northwest between 12th and 11th Avenue. they are rude and unprofessional... The old manager, was a kind an friendly lady. Train your management more than your cashiers... Their title goes over the heads. I'm going to Boston Market... even Popeyes is better...“

“This was my first time trying Honduran food and I was pleasantly surprised ..I ordered the pollo frito ceibeño ( fried chicken) wow the flavors are amazing and the overall seasoning of the chicken was the right balance of salty and crunchy , also have to mention the Service was top notch I don’t speak Spanish and they were very helpful in the ordering process…. “I love Pollo Tropical so much and used to go to this location lots years go when I lived here. Was excited to return and am glad to say the food tastes better than ever and the team working there are all super friendly. I got a large Tropichop mojo roast pork ‘all the way’ with guac and it was ridiculously good. Wish I had one of these right by me. Best fast food available and far better than the vast majority of sit down places.

I didn’t catch any of their names but the staff were also incredibly friendly and super helpful. They were very nice answering a couple questions I had and also loaded up my to-go order with a bunch of the side sauces. The side sauces are an absolute must-have for pretty much anything you get here.“
