The stracciatella with the truffle honey (don’t skip the truffle honey or you have already played yourself) was definitely a highlight. The weekend special (Bianco gnocchi with brown butter sauce) was absolutely divine, I came close to climax with each bite. Obviously the patatte fritte were amazing but I’m sure you know that already. We didn’t make a reservation but got there at 6 and were sat right away, it was outside which seemed like a nicer atmosphere than being inside. Do yourself a favor and get there early and with an appetite, you will absolutely not regret it.“

With our anniversary he provided us each with a glass of champagne! He explained the dinner specials and even brought us a taste of one of the appetizers called Fiocchi Rapers – filled pasta with cheese and pear, with crispy prosciutto and creamy truffle sauce. The atmosphere was like being in my Nana's home. Sure, it's tight on space, but so was Nana's kitchen. And it was packed on a Monday night, a generally slow night for restaurants. Our server, Tomas was a pleasure to work with. Attentive, but not bothersome. He offered suggestions without pressure that we felt at another Italian restaurant nearby. We shared an excellent Caesar salad with anchovies to start. So good! Next, I ordered the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, which was heavenly. My husband had Pappardelle Al Ragú Di Agnello, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't get to taste it because I wouldn't share mine. Fair is fair, I suppose. Tomas paired our meal with a wonderful Primitivo Puglia that was perfect. Then he suggested dessert, and although I was stuffed, we shared a cannoli. It was delicious also, but I really didn't need it. The surprise limoncello, on the house, was a perfect ending to a perfect meal! An aside? Watching the pasta being made in the front window was a bonus. I learned some things I'll use at home!“

I have been here solo (at night) and I’ve gone with my boyfriend (early evening) and both times the service was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. If you take the time to get to know your server, you find out a lot of really cool things about not only them but the restaurant. Did you know that every server speaks Italian and the majority of them all are from Italy? I bet if he took the time to get to know the people that are there on a daily basis the more you understand the quality of food that you’re receiving. Pasta is freshly made. All the vegetables looked and tasted fresh. The burrata was perfect. And the choices on the menu were not TOO many but had just the right amount. BTW they have GLUTEN FREE PASTA! I also enjoyed a glass of rosé, both times and two different glasses of red wine. Great selections. After dinner I enjoyed a cappuccino and an espresso the other time and had an overall great experience. This is now my favorite spot to go for Italian in South Beach. Highly recommend“

The pasta is really good too and the garlic knots are delicious. The only thing is, inside the restaurant looks super old, dirty, no vibe, no music and needs to be remodeled. It's a great space, so it would do well if they remodeled and put some music on. I'd eat there more often and it will help bring in guest if they cleaned it up inside. The vibe eating there was borderline uncomfortable. Just my honest opinion. But great food“
