“AMAZING real Italian food made by a guy actually from Italy. From the outside it doesn't look like anything, bit inside it is quite stylish and cozy. A great place for a date. “I've been enjoying Vegan Delights for years. Anytime I need some treats for myself, family, friends, or an occasion, I'm sure to hit them up. I stop in sometimes just for lunch or to load up on some yummy goodness. It's great that they've expanded to the Fort Lauderdale area. I always recommend them to anyone I know. The best thing about it in addition to the taste is that it's 100% vegan, so there's no worry about contributing to animal cruelty when you buy their products. If you haven't I already, you need to check them out. Vegan Delights is something you need in your life!“

Any angle you look at it: food quality, taste and presentation; service impeccable; cocktails far from average & usual - interesting, full flavor, gorgeously presented. The dishes and cups. The edible bright flowers that bring life and color to the plate. The waiters! Knowledgeable, delicate, with a sense of humor. Violinist - modernistic rap music that sounds like Bach. Ambiance. The light low key table lamps that look like candles. Beautiful photography and chachkas on the walls. One of the main courses we ordered - polenta with crab meat. I could just do this polenta alone like a dessert cream brûlée. It's a place to return to. “We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try vegan Haitian food, especially when served in an awesome funky herb shop. The Vegan Marie is a charming family-run business serving up super tasty food. During our visit, they were serving the spelt wrap filled with various vegetables and legumes. It had tons of flavor and seemed low in oil, which we hugely appreciated. The wrap came with a great dressing that it hardly needed, since the wrap already had so much flavor. It was accompanied by a side salad that was fresh and had a really tasty spicy sweet dressing. We were also offered a taste of the soursop juice which was tart and tasty.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“
