“We had a stellar time at Walrus Rodeo! The staff was warm and friendly and the food was exceptional. Definitely get the maitake mushrooms and pork belly and gnocchi, and don't forget a pie too! We even sprang for a bottle of wine that the sommelier recommended which was similarly incredible. It's definitely a must-eat in Miami and we can't wait to go back!

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“An excellent lunch this week at Torno Subito. A lovely rooftop location in the city center (on top of Julia & Henry's) makes for a lovely setting. The food is excellent quality with four courses, perfectly judged in size and flavour: an amuse bouche packed full of flavour, delicious "modern" salad, tagliatelle carbonara a selection of sorbets to finish. The servers were also informative and attentive without being intrusive. Hghly recommend a visit.“

“We had lunch at Felice in Brickell today and it was AMAZING. We drove from Fort Lauderdale and its location is so easy to reach from I-95 and we loved the valet parking so prompt. The restaurant has a wonderful outside dining area, made private by luscious plants, fans, heaters, modern furniture and decor, but we opted to dine inside due to the bad weather. The dining room is quite elegant but contemporary, the tablecloths and silverware on point, which is important for us. The overall service quality was superb, from hostess Manuela's warm reception, to Flavio the manager's exquisite charm, to the skilled waiter's attentiveness, and we even got to meet Chef Luigi to compliment him on each of the dishes we enjoyed. Most importantly, everyone was really Italian and spoke Italian, which was so refreshing, since we are also Italian from the actual Country ! We loved the refined ambiance and relaxed atmosphere which made the authentic Northern Italian dishes taste even better ! Food and drink wise: the Mojito we started with was most delicious ! A Bubbly Prosecco DOC was our choice to enjoy the meal. For appetizers we had Tuna Carpaccio with capers, but it was as fancy as a Tuna Tartar, and scrumptious shrimps in pink sauce with a touch of Jalapeno. For the entrees, we went with the New York strip with Truffle and Mushroom which came inside a fancy copper pan; we were impressed by the very generous portion boasting an aroma and flavor we hardly tasted anywhere else other than Italy, and a classic Branzino al Cartoccio, which came inside the actual "cartoccio" it was baked within, and its freshness and flavor were amazing. Side dishes were delicious too: we ordered char-grilled asparagus and the best home made French Fries EVER! All the food was "clean", fresh, cooked to perfection, with no heavy sauce or seasoning covering/altering the actual flavor of the main ingredients like most "Italian" restaurants do here in Sfla. We appreciated that immensely! We "tried" to end with a nice espresso only.....but they insisted we had a bite of their Tiramisu dessert and we obliged. Obviously, it was delicious too. Hence, as far as REAL Italian restaurants in South Florida are concerned, we recommend this place wholeheartedly, and we will be back very soon to taste more of their dishes. OVERALL : 10 STARS!!!!!“

“We live locally and decided to stay here for a quick getaway and it became one of our best vacations ever! We actually booked the South Cottage and called to a week before our vacation to see if they have any cottages with two bathrooms instead of just one. We spoke with Eli who was so helpful and professional. He was able to upgrade us to the Rosemary Cottage. Side note: I could not stress how awesome it is to call their number and someone from the front desk is the one who actually answers the phone. It's so convenient than waiting for prompts and long promos before being connect to a person. The Rosemary Cottage is BEAUTIFUL. The decor, the location, the convenience and comfort ARE worth every penny. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and the beds are really comfortable. Our kids love the space and the options they had for their room. There are peacocks roaming around the whole property which my kids loved seeing. They also come with two golf carts that you can use throughout the property. The people that work here are very friendly. From the front desk to the bellman, bartender even the person who helped with our beach chairs and always happy to help! We love the beach they have in property because is right in front of the hotel beach restaurant and you can order your food and hangout on the beach without having to walk too far. The food is really good too! Don't be discouraged to order from the restaurants outside hotel property in the island because even their convenience store has good food. They have everything you need, even caviar. : ) They also have a nice place ground where my kids spent the afternoon. If we weren't there, we'd be in the pool or just driving around the island. The ferry was on rotation 24/7 so we had no issues getting in and out of the island. We definitely enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to going back. So if you want experience Miami without the hustle bustle of downtown during the day and just relax, this is the place to stay in.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at La Martola last Thursday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The evening was made even more special by the addition of live music, which created a lively yet relaxing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal.

The highlight of my visit was their Portonovo Pizza. It was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, fresh and flavorful toppings, and a delightful balance of textures and flavors. It’s easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The service was prompt and professional, and the restaurant maintained a clean and inviting environment.

The live music added a wonderful touch, making the evening feel both celebratory and relaxing without being overwhelming. The combination of excellent food, welcoming ambiance, and entertainment made for a truly memorable night.

“This has quickly become my favorite pizzeria in South Florida.

I know, I know, there are lots of options in South Florida. It doesn’t matter what type of pizza you fancy, there’s a spot for you. That said, I’m a big fan of artisan dough, fresh ingredients, and a perfectly cooked pie. Bellillo is all of that and more.

Obviously, the location is super trendy. The fact that it’s open late is awesome. But nothing compares to how good the pizza is. I always start with a meatball appetizer and the cheese croquettes. They are on point like a decimal.

The Margherita pizza with the buffalo mozzarella is amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is awesome. And ending the night with a Nutella pizza with pistachios is like the cherry on the Sunday.

Ironically, we always get the same waiter, a young dude who has great table manners.

The women at the front said “You can ask, but I am not entirely sure” and that was good enough for me.The bartender, Chris, was extremely helpful and personable, and I wanted to create my own personal pizza, so he called out a chef to help me.One of the chefs, Tony an experienced foodie from NY, came out to discuss the order I wanted and told me it would be a little pricier as I wanted a “fat sandwich pizza” a staple from where I am in NJ and where I went to college.This pizza is a white pizza with no sauce besides buffalo drizzled over the top piled high with mozzarella cheese, french fries, chicken tender pieces and mozzarella sticks.The pizza was AMAZING, one of the best fat sango’s I had ever eaten, maybe they will put it on their menu for me :-).The price was $35 for this one pizza as the bartender whom was extremely busy accidentally charged me for a cheese pizza + a side of all the toppings.
