“One of the best meals I have had this year. Taste-wise Goblin Market delivered, I’ve never even considered honey truffled scallops. Not to mention the steak was cooked perfect, juicy and topped with de vin, au jus and bleu cheese. My husband and I can’t get over how much flavor our meals had. We left happy and full.“

“We met friends here. It was our first time. We were very impressed with the attentiveness of all staff working together as a team. It was amazing. The beer was great. “We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“We always have an amazing meal when we go to Wave! We've tries just about every specialty item, but also love the ramen and rolls! They also have cool merch, when available.“

“I didn’t have any food so can’t rate it but my husband and I came by to kill time before checking in to our Inn. We had a great time talking to the bartender and learning about Mt Dora. It’s a quaint little place with a great selection of wine and beer. 10/10 would come back next time we go to Mt Dora.“

“This place is one of the best places to eat out in downtown MountDora. Me and my family stopped here to grab some pizza’s, we ended up trying subs, wings, salads, good thing we did because this was the best food ever, jayden was such a nice young man taking are orders because they were so busy he also came back multiple times checking in on us and making sure we were ok. i give this place a 10/10 and definitely recommend you to try.“

“An absolutely scrumptious lunch option in Mt Dora. Each salad is filled with fresh greens and well cooked meats/seafood, paired with a balanced dressing on the side. The Bloody Marys are generous; I would recommend asking for horseradish included as well. The outdoor seating usually has a cooling breeze with a beautiful view of the lake.

Vegetarian options: The salads are fantastic.

Parking: The hotel has parking and there is a public outdoor lot a block away.“

“My wife and I found this place about a year ago while looking for local coffee shops. I am always surprised by how balanced the seasonal coffee options are, no matter how crazy they sound! It's really tough to find places that have intriguing new flavors, but also find the right balance so the drink isn't all syrup or flavor. Anyway, we love this little shop and appreciate the time you put into your coffee options!“

“While in town visiting for the weekend, we visited Maggie's attic three times. I believe every weekend they have either beer or wine sip n shops on Saturday evening, and in addition to having an immense selection of beer and wine, they have a small bar where you can get a glass of wine and sit on one of their mini couches or love seats and enjoy great conversation. They are dog friendly too!“

“We visit Pisces Rising several times a year and love their food and drink, happy hour is great. They do need to alter their recipe for the Poke Stack.....it's all fresh, but had a huge top layer of wonton and thick bottom layer of rice, making the whole thing really dry. If they just eliminated those items, it would be much better.“

“This is the worst bar in Mount Dora. If you want to have a bad time. Go here. We showed up to the bar at 10 pm on a Saturday and ordered one drink per person. While my friends went to the bathroom, the bartender walked up to our table and took away our purchased drinks for no reason. The "manager", Mark came up and told me that we weren't welcome anymore. I asked why and he had no answer. I asked why again and he had no answer. Then after multiple times questioning, he said , "your too intoxicated" We were literally sober. The manager then physically intimidated us and forced us to leave. I'll never go to this bar again I live in this town and frequent town regularly. I'll never recommend anyone go to this bar for food or drink. What a top to bottom terrible experience. If you enjoy a good time, skip this bar.“

“Delicious food in the perfect atmosphere. I have a food allergy to trace amounts (histamine based but thankfully not anaphylaxis) so I usually don't eat at restaurants, but this one was worth it. Everything about the place puts the other Cuban restaurant on the corner to shame.“
