“We've eaten breakfast here numerous times and it's always fantastic. However, we never ate dinner there until tonight. After a 12-hour work shift and an impromptu emergency trip to Titusville, it was getting late so my son and I were all rattling off all of our typical last-minute dining choices. We had just gotten in an argument and it was a long stressful day and we needed something for our souls as well as our grumbling tummies.That's when we passed C's in Oak Hill.That was it. That was the missing piece to end this terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad-day on a more positive note. So, we did a U-turn and came back.Like I said, it is our favorite breakfast spot, but we had never tried dinner. So, we were excitedly discussing what the dinner atmosphere would be like when we walked-in and met Peggy.And, because I've worked in the restaurant business, I know first-hand how it can e frustrating when someone comes in right before closing. So, to gauge our time, I asked her if they were closing soon (there were a couple of tables eating).And she told me... It was closing time.Oh no! Just our luck today apparently. So, as I apologized and went to leave, she asked what we had planned to eat and I told her my son had his heart set on a Nutella and Strawberry waffle and I just wanted some breakfast for dinner. She very kindly said, "wait right here."She went back to ask if the kitchen staff was on board and came back and told me the good news - they had a big table still ordering and they would be happy to feed us.Let me tell you, that single act of kindness and thoughtfulness won my son and I over for life. Not only did she help turn our day around when she could have 100% said "no," I would have understood, but then she proceeded to be efficient and kind and served my son the best-looking waffle I've ever seen (I wish I had thought to take a picture but I was trying to get out of her table so they could go home)! And, maybe I was really that hungry, but the kitchen staff knocked it out of the park with my eggs and bacon breakfast (it came with hashbrowns and biscuit and I even ordered a side of gravy for it). Yum!She and the staff were so thoughtful and kind and it made me reflect on my own frustrations whenever I've been put in a similar situation.Thank you, Peggy and the kitchen staff, You turned this Mondayists-of-Mondays into a good day after all, and we will 100% be returning for more dinners (next time much earlier)!“

“Enjoyable meal. The lightest, fluffiest ricotta cheese gnocchi I've ever eaten. Not like the usual bullets that sit like lead sinkers in your stomach. But rather little clouds of happiness. The limoncello donut was perfection. While it is difficult to capture great atmosphere in a strip plaza setting, the people here truly care about the food. Service was excellent. Also in the picture are potato latkes with smoked salmon and a reuben.“

“Fun place. Everyone was super friendly! From the raw oysters for appetizer to the Key lime pie for dessert, we enjoyed everything! A less crowded place to take the family after an amazing day at the beach.Kid-friendliness: 5 year old enjoyed herself. Very clean safe place“

“We’ve eaten there for two days in a row! Our Airbnb host recommended it, so we went just across the street and arrived late, but Sarah was a JEWEL!! We dined outside to enjoy the nice breeze. Today, we decided to do carry out, and they remembered my husband and even asked where his wife was… very thoughtful! You rarely find that kind of service! Their food is delicious, and plenty of it! “I had a sliced pork sandwich and fries. Both were good. The sandwich wasn't as full as I like to see from a BBQ place. The mustard based sauce had a weird end flavor. The sweet sauce was the best sauce for me. The sweet tea could have been a little sweeter as well. Waitress was on top of everything. She makes me want to go back and try something different...“
