“I knew I wanted to go to Archibald's since they opened. Their social media makes it look like such a fun and delicious place to stop in for a coffee or a sweet treat! And lemme tell you--all my expectations were exceeded handily from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by the owner, Chris, and couldn't wait to order my oat milk latte. They served it in a 16oz size, which was PERFECT for my perhaps worrisome reliance on caffeine. It was strong and delicious, just the way I LOVE it. The music and the setting were outstanding. I couldn't help singing along with the playlists piping through their cozy outdoor seating area and several little birds and neighborhood pups made the experience that much more enjoyable. Chris would deliver orders to the seating area and his warmth and hospitality made this THE place to be, especially on an overcast Sunday morning. I loved the pumpkin spice scone and the quiche was BEAUTIFUL, especially with that gluten-free crust. I try to limit that consumption as much as I can though I have to admit--baked goods are my kryptonite. All in all, an incredible experience. I look forward to returning when I'm back in Ft. Lauderdale. And when I come, I'll be sure to bring my souvenir mug--they'll fill it with drip coffee for only a DOLLA'! The pizza was delicious, crispy, fluffy, perfect amount of sauce and tomatoes to moisten the bread a little. Chef Hans heated it up for us and it was amazing.The blueberry muffin was definitely fresh, with a caramelized sugar crispy top and soft fluffy bottom packed with blueberry.The bread pudding is the best bread pudding I have ever had, the top has some chunks of sweet high quality chocolate chunks and some peanuts to give it a nice texture, and it comes with a lightly sweet white sauce to moisten the bottom layer to make a perfect bite.Everything was a 10 out of 10, nothing could had made any of the items better.They change the flavors of their pizza every week so I’ll definitely be trying the new flavors and their breakfast sandwiches next time.“

We can’t stay away from here the fresh food, delicious choices and plenty for me to choose from being I am a pescatarian too! Their salmon is cooked perfectly the right size, too, sweet potato noodles to die for and top off the kale slaw and that is my go to on each visit! But now let’s talk about their friendly staff! From Day 1, no matter who waits on me is always pleasant and I usually have my favorites; here, there are many I just met the new General Manager, Justin Schwartz, I have to mention how I met him. I was speaking to a Team Member on the line when I overheard someone earshot away answering my question about the salmon. To my surprise he overheard me and chimed in to let me know how they rotate the salmon often and we hit it off right away. The team members: Caleb and Samantha and most others have been so hospitable they are definitely doing something right here. We continue to come frequently too many to mention so this will suffice! “Really a hidden gem. We were hungry after a day at the beach and searched the web. We ended at this delicious place were the food is SO GOOD and so fresh. We were so happy to find it. “Wow. I seriously mean, wow. I had to collect myself to properly give a review of this restaurant. From the beginning we were greeted with warm and inviting smiles. We were given three types of menus, it had a plethora of choices and one by one my eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. I couldn’t believe that they had vegan sushi! My heart went immediately for a roti pizza called Mystic Pizza. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a vegan place in SoFlo. My wife ordered the jack fruit and the flavors were brilliantly done. I could taste not only the love but the soul of the seasonings. We were extremely delighted with every we tried. Then a gentleman that works there, handed us an all natural fruit smoothie sample and I was impressed. Honestly the food is impressive and so are the people that provide the service. “A a big shout out to Gem Eatery in Margate. This small family-owned eatery is only open for breakfast and lunch. The service is a tad slow but that is because everything is made from scratch and the servings are huge. I did not mind the wait especially since the reward was worth every bite. The service is amazing. You must try the gigantic cinnamon bun large enough for 3 people. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but the coffee is smooth and not acidic at all, I enjoyed 2 cups, hubby had 4. The homemade English muffins were extra-large, fresh, and tasty. This is a must for all of us and would be quite a gesture as we support our neighborhood eateries. Laurie does all of the baking at the facility and her husband Tony is the man behind the delicious meals. We plan to return and plan to try the smothered home fries. I give Gem Eatery 5 Stars and am proud the say that its right here in our neck of the woods.“

You can either order from the counter when you walk in, or order from your table and pay after at the counter. I had a chai latte that was creamy and dreamy. My friend had an expresso with frothed milk that she enjoyed. We both had omelettes. You have a choice of home fries or fruit, and a toast option. The omelettes were plentiful, for a matter of fact my friend couldn't finish hers. I finished mine because I'm a foodie and a yelpie of course! As you see in my photo, we went with the fruit. The fruit was fresh and abundant. This place isn't close to my home, however I will most certainly come back to relax here and enjoy something delicious! They have a massive board with all of what they offer over the counter. They have hot and cold coffees, tea and smoothies. They have pastries and hot food, so pretty much everyone can find something that they will enjoy! The restaurant has been open for 10 years. Boy have I been missing out!
