“I had a wonderful experience at this Peruvian restaurant. The food was flavorful, comforting, and full of authentic Peruvian character.
I also want to especially thank Jerry for the great service—he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of. Because of his kindness and professionalism, the whole meal felt even more enjoyable.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Peruvian food and excellent service.“

“Went to eat out after a job interview and as soon as I saw it was Peruvian cuisine, I was very excited to try the food out. I had a cafe con leche and a chaufa Cabaña 28 and steak, it was marvelous to say the least. Flavors were spectacular and the food was cooked perfectly, can’t recommend this place enough..“

“Manny’s Cafe & Bakery is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
I stopped in and tried the beef empanada, and it was absolutely amazing. The first thing that stood out was the dough—it had a great texture, perfectly cooked with a nice bite on the outside while still being soft and flavorful. You can tell the dough itself isn’t an afterthought; it actually adds to the overall experience.
The beef filling was flavorful and paired perfectly with the crust. A good empanada sounds simple, but when the dough, seasoning, texture, and filling all come together, it makes a difference.
Manny’s definitely nailed this one. Next time I’m going back to explore more of the menu, but that beef empanada will absolutely be part of the order again.

“Wonderful in every way! The food was amazing. Service was extremely friendly and professional. Ambiance was welcoming and festive- better than we've experienced anywhere in a long time. Going back for the live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Decor was a lovely covered patio, with abundant plants and artwork. It was a real pleasure meeting and talking with our server Rolando. Our group was a mix of a Peruvian, Puerto Ricans, and a gringa; all were impressed with their meal. ChileLimon Fusion was, of course, enhanced by their fresh Pisco Sours. What a latin treat to find! We are eager to return and share with friends.“

“My husband, my youngest son and I used to have lunch or dinner here. The stuff is friendly, respectful and helpful. You do not have to expend lot of time waiting.
We really enjoyed the Latin tasting, and the amount of food is more than enough for one person; thus often we can take some to home.
Strongly recommend this restaurant 👌“

“The food is fresh, flavorful, and the veggies are perfectly crisp and not overcooked like Chinese takeout can be sometimes. Absolutely delicious. We got the beef and broccoli, beef with mixed vegetables, roast pork with bean sprouts, and orange chicken, all dinner combos that come with fried rice, egg roll and soup. The portions are HUGE. Definitely getting at least 2-3 meals from each. The wontons are delicious and actually authentic tasting Hong Kong style wontons. My whole family loved it all and will be making Wing’s a regular stop for lunch and dinner.“

“Love this place. I either get the chicken or steak with rice and beans and plantains. The red sauce is spicy and my favorite. The green sauce is tangy and my favorite. White sauce is creamy Italian dressing. They have an onion bar as well. Fast and kind service. I always ask for my plantains well done and they always cook em up for me no problem. I go atleast 5 times a month when I dont feel like cooking! Ill call ahead of time and place my order and its always ready when I get there when im on the go! Great price great food great service!“

On this visit, I ordered the half chicken with rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. From the first bite, it was obvious why people keep coming back. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor throughout. Every piece had that slow-marinated taste that many chicken chains try to achieve but rarely deliver.
The black beans were a standout. Rich, savory, and full of flavor, they tasted like they had been simmering for hours rather than scooped from a steam table. Paired with the rice, they created the kind of comfort-food combination that feels homemade.
The sweet plantains brought the perfect balance of sweetness to the plate, soft and caramelized with just the right amount of color.
What truly separates La Granja from the competition is the onion bar. The selection of spicy onions, garlic onions, and fresh pico-style onions allows customers to customize every bite. Those toppings add acidity, texture, freshness, and heat that elevate the entire meal. As a chef, I appreciate details like that because they’re the difference between a good meal and a memorable one.
And yes, I’m going to say it: La Granja is better than Pollo Tropical. The chicken is more flavorful, the black beans have more depth, and the condiment bar creates a more complete dining experience. While Pollo Tropical helped popularize Caribbean-style grilled chicken in South Florida, La Granja delivers a bolder flavor profile that keeps me coming back.

La Granja is such a wonderful spot with a friendly crew running it.
The food is delicious, fresh and authentic.
My favorite part or this restaurant is their salsa and sauce station, where the guests can fill up their own little cups of salsas and spicy sauces to go, or to dine in.
I had the steak meal, with rice, beans and sweet plantains, it was flavorful and everything was well seasoned.
Definitely come here if you’re looking for a meal that will for sure fill you and not break your wallet“
