“These are by far the best tacos I’ve ever had. Very authentic street tacos that make you feel like you’re right at home. Definitely try out the Al Pastor and Chorizo tacos. Owner is a sweetheart and actually cares about the quality of food she makes. I’ve recommended this place to multiple people and will continue to do so.“

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

“I have loved this restaurant since 2000!!! I used to work nearby. I just went yesterday and it is STILL exactly the same deliciousness I always get carne asada it comes with cheese enchilada, rice, beans, and guacamole and sour cream. I always switch the yellow rice and black beans to white rice and cheesy refried beans. They are fast to serve the food and never have I ever anything but perfect service. I literally love this place!!!!“

“I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Garden Restaurant! I ordered the chili and cheese omelette with potatoes and wheat toast, which was highly recommended by the sweet and charming Janet, my lovely waitress. From the moment I sat down, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the restaurant a true "Mom & Pop" vibe that made me feel right at home. My food arrived in less than 5 minutes, which was impressive! The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were crisp and flavorful, all complemented by a nice, hearty wheat toast. To top it off, the coffee and water were just what I needed to round out a perfect meal. The friendly atmosphere and personal touch from the staff made this a standout dining experience. I highly recommend the Garden Restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and a cozy, welcoming environment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“As authentic of Mexican tacos I've found in Fort Lauderdale! Delicious, flavorful, reasonably priced and super fast. Quick counter service takeaway or dine-in.
Also a ton of authentic pastries, meat, cheeses and food items. Unassuming storefront with pleasant staff and noisy importantly, delicious food.

“I've actually been eating here since I was a kid. This restaurant not only knows quality but also quantity! They actually cook their food with love and they treat their customers like family. This place is the heart and soul of Oakland Park in my opinion. I am greatful my own children can enjoy the same warm flavorful food they used to make for me!!! And for those that complain about the price, they give you what you pay for, I usually have food left over for 2-3 days! The people that own the restaurant are some of the nicest I've met in my life and I am a black woman. Give it a try, be kind, be patient, Pagoda will definitely come through!❤️“

“I went there tonight with my husband, sister and brother in law. FABULOUS!! The food was amazing and our server was fun and friendly. I got the the fried pork chops...so tender and delicious. The sangria was great but my favorite was the red beans. OMG!!! If you're ever in the area go check this place out, you will not be disappointed!!“
