“We live really close to this little gem, always wanted to try it and FINALLY made it there for lunch today. What a huge loss that we waited so long! Their food is so good. I ordered the 2 carna asada taco lunch special which came with beans and rice. My husband ordered the carnita taco lunch special. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy, the beans were topped with melted cheese. We ordered a side of chips and salsa. The chips were warm, crunchy and seemed freshly made. Absolutely amazing lunch.... We will not wait too long to return here to eat.“

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

I ordered the chili and cheese omelette with potatoes and wheat toast, which was highly recommended by the sweet and charming Janet, my lovely waitress. From the moment I sat down, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the restaurant a true "Mom & Pop" vibe that made me feel right at home. My food arrived in less than 5 minutes, which was impressive! The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were crisp and flavorful, all complemented by a nice, hearty wheat toast. To top it off, the coffee and water were just what I needed to round out a perfect meal. The friendly atmosphere and personal touch from the staff made this a standout dining experience. “Slipped in Saturday night just before the dinner rush and scored a table quickly. Service was fast and friendly, apps out in under 10 minutes after we sat. Edamame was plain, thanks to sriracha I added to give it some ummf, but the steamed veggie pot stickers hit the spot.

My wife loved her Tonkotsu Ramen with perfectly cooked pork, and my Sakura Spicy Ramen with chicken, extra egg, and I added extra heat was exactly what I wanted. Our solo server crushed it, checking in often despite a packed house.

Finished with Thai donuts, crispy, fluffy, and just what we needed to end our meal. Great new ramen spot in the neighborhood. We'll be back!“

“Open EARLY!! I really don't care for non authentic Mexican food. Not only is this authentic, I think the prices are very reasonable. The waitresses are incredibly nice. At least one of them will be fluent in English.
I always get crispy corn tortilla tacos and beef enchiladas with red sauce.
I take home a healthy quantity of leftovers for another snack later on.

“The food here is by far some of the best I’ve had. There is NOTHING on the menu that isn’t absolutely delicious. We’ve never actually been in the restaurant (just Door Dash) but I’m sure the staff are just as awesome (I’m a server…of course I’m gonna say that 🤣). Seriously though, we’ve had the tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, skirt steak, stir fry, fajitas, spinach dip, rice and beans, and guacamole. Everything is DELICIOUS!!!! If you think otherwise, you should have your head examined. 🤣. Now I know what I want for dinner tonight!!!!!“

“First time here yesterday and I can say that the Italian sub I ate was probably the best one I've had in a long time. I'm usually a fan of Publix subs or Jersey Mike's, but this sub was way above the rest. The bread, the meats, the toppings, everything was tasty. My friend got the Hot & Spicy burger, which he really liked. I/we will definitely return when in the area again.“
