“We just had the most fabulous night. We were staying at Sapphire Falls. We weren’t super hungry. Strong Water is a beautiful restaurant with a great property view. They specialize in Rum and Tapas. We had just hours earlier had our first grandbaby. Maggie elevated our night from her great service helped us celebrate. She’s so fun and caring!! She goes above and beyond! It made our perfect night end perfectly. Thanks Maggie!!!!“

“We had a bit of an unexpected delay during our visit—we arrived at 3:00 pm, but due to an error on the restaurant's side, our food wasn't served until around 4:00 pm. While the wait was longer than expected, what really stood out was how the staff handled the situation.

The manager was incredibly attentive from the moment they realised the mistake. He checked in on us several times, sincerely apologised, and did everything he could to make things right. Our waitress was equally kind and genuinely apologetic throughout. You could tell they truly cared about our experience.

To top it all off, the manager generously took care of our entire bill, which was an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture.

Most importantly, the food was absolutely worth mentioning. The shrimp tacos were delicious, and the fillet mignon was cooked perfectly. Great food paired with outstanding customer service turned what could have been a disappointing experience into one that left a lasting positive impression.

We'll definitely be back. Thank you to the team for turning a mistake into an example of excellent hospitality!“

“Awesome food for you if you are into spicy. Me not so much but when I order the spanadas I could not stop eating them even they we mild spicy. Then I got the coconut shrimp tacos, I didn't know the sauce was spicy..but again even with my mouth burning a bit still had to finish them. My wife ordered the banana stuff bowl it was delicious. Camila our waitress was great..the manager came over and offered to make my tacos with out the spicy sauce..I told him not to worry it was good..he still insists to take it off the bill. Great place to come and relax. Oh did I mention the drinks were great too.“

“We went there this week off the recommendation of JL Jupiter, Food Blogger. I was struck by the fact that he seemed to be enjoying his food a LOT. So we went to try it, and it was fabulous. Please ask for a cupful of the diabolically delicious chicken gravy, and spoon a little on top of your diri djon djon. The griot went suspiciously fast between the two of us. My spouse loved the piklis so much, she kept some for her dinner the next evening. Fantastic food, 10/10. And the woman behind the counter couldn't have been sweeter. Benita's was the BEST food we tasted on our trip to Orlando, and I'm so glad we went.“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!!
