“Everything was perfect from the greeting thru to the lemocini(sp?) at the end. You can get a great meal at alot of places, but the service here sets it apart. Love the atmosphere too. Lights are dimmed and cozy. I can't wait to go back. I'll add Christinis to list of places to go to for special occasions. Warning- NOT CHEAP. Go to Olive Garden if you want cheap. “We had our first experience dining at Cala Bella while staying at Shingle Creek in Orlando — and it was absolutely incredible! Although the restaurant was bustling, they kindly found us seats at the bar, where we had a front-row view of the kitchen. It was such a treat to watch Chef Kermary put the final touches on each dish with care and precision. Our server, Enidsha, was warm, attentive, and perfectly timed with everything. Manager Austin set the bar high with his professionalism and presence throughout the evening. But the true highlight of our evening was watching one of the cooks, Ante, work his magic on the grill. He noticed our interest and went out of his way to come chat with us. When we told him how much we enjoyed watching him prepare the octopus — and how we couldn’t wait to try it next time — he said, “Why wait?” Minutes later, we were savoring one of the best octopus dishes we’ve ever had. “Sue and I have not been to this place since they converted to sit-down and order. Finally joining the real restaurant world. We have eaten here about 20 times in the last few years and have always enjoyed the food, but felt strange with the get-your-own-drink aspect of it. Anyways, we are seated at our favorite booth, Perry Como, Elvis, Dean Martin, and Sinatra (the usual suspects) crooning at a comfortable level, with decent speakers. Oscar greeted us and took our drinks order, leaving a couple of rather impressive menus with us. We spent some time looking at the menu, as the format has changed somewhat. I ordered the shrimp marsala on linguine, Sue ordered the same on some other pasta noodle (You choose). After a reasonable interval, our food arrived. 2 huge bowls of deliciousness thick enough that it could have been called a stew. Lrt me tell you, I've been to restaurants that the orders contained little meat, little mushrooms, and a LOT of broth. Not here! These bowls were crammed with a ton of food. Shrimp, portobella mushrooms and pasta that was not overcooked. I gotta tell you, Sue and I dine out a LOT...various venues all over WG/Ocoee/Windermere/Clermont. This was probably the finest meal I ever had. The improvements the restaurant made are A+ Definitely worth dropping a hundy on.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maggiano's Little Italy in Orlando on International Drive and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess, who promptly seated us at a cozy table that perfectly set the tone for the evening. The waitstaff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made sure our glasses were never empty and checked in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. For the main course, we chose the Chicken Parmesan, which was cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy chicken inside. The pasta was al dente, and the meat sauce was rich and savory. It was really enough for two people to share. To top it all off, they brought two plates of their famous lemon cookies to our table, to celebrate our third anniversary. Overall, our experience at Maggiano's was nothing short of excellent. The combination of outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food made for a memorable evening. “Local Gem We live a 15 minute stroll from Mangoni's Italian Market, but at "feels like" temps hovering around 105°, strolling to lunch hasn't been as attractive ? Sunday, hubby wanted a relaxing lunch with sangria! So, we drove (& charged our EV in the parking garage). We had the entire patio to ourselves, as diners likely expected unbearable heat. Mangoni's pergola and great ceiling fans made patio dining the experience we wanted---even when the afternoon storm blew up from the west, we were protected from rain. We enjoyed our favorite, GF goat cheese pizza, with our sangria. Unlike most places, Mangoni's GF crust is an excellent, thin cauliflower crust. And, it’s not an upcharge. We also enjoyed meeting Georgia, the regional manager, who chatted with us about the social hour (11-6pm weekdays). She made a GF garlicky cheesy Flatbread for us to try--now we have more reason to stroll (or drive) over! Oh, and take away is a frequent option. Really, Mangoni's is a local gem.“

“Tonight was our first time eating here. I love how close by it is to where we live. We split an "Antipasto" salad and ordered a 16" "Mediterranean Chicken" pizza. The place was not busy in-house, but they were dealing with a good number of takeout orders. The pizza and salad came out quickly. The pizza was "oven hot", but eating the salad first allowed it to cool a bit. Excellent pizza... thin crust that had a nice chewy texture without being tough. They told us that the crust is "aged" for 72 hours after being mixed to develop flavor. Toppings were freshly prepared and tasty. Our pizza had a pesto base... really good. Very happy with our meal here... we'll definitely be back!!“

“Food is good BUT there’s nothing more frustrating than trying to enjoy a quiet dinner with my husband only to have it interrupted by one of your servers loudly sharing her entire life story with the guests at the table next to us. Throughout our meal, we couldn’t help but overhear her talking about being a stay-at-home mom, her breakup, living with her mother, receiving an allowance, and even details about her father in Tennessee. These are not topics diners should be exposed to while trying to enjoy a meal. By the time I realized the conversation wasn’t ending anytime soon, I asked for my food to be boxed just so I could leave and have some peace. It was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this, as staff should remain attentive and discreet so guests can enjoy their dining experience without hearing personal stories from the next table.“

“Trattoria del Porto was a wonderful dining experience and easily our favorite restaurant of the trip. The restaurant has recently been remodeled, and it is absolutely worth checking out.

We visited several nice restaurants, but this one stood out for all the right reasons. From the thoughtful accommodations for my food restrictions to the attentive and friendly staff, everything was handled beautifully. The cocktails were also amazing.

We had pasta, a giant chicken Parm with a ricotta meatball as an appetizer and enjoyed a butter cake for dessert. Everyone worked as a team from our server, our red coat door dining host and the manager that made the cheese wheel magic!!! I loved the special way meals are made here. I don’t know if the truffle oil is for me I like a really creamy Alfredo, but the meat ball and chicken were so tasty. “I’m from Connecticut/New York and haven’t been able to find good pizza since moving to Orlando. So many places advertise New York pizza, but they’re all duds. That all changed when I went to Sal’s. If you’re from NY NJ or CT, this is the place you’ve been missing.

The pizza is truly a NY pie, large slices, good cheese. I also like the dinners here. I’d like the sauce better if it was just a little thicker, but hardly a complaint. We finally found our spot, we will be back!“
