I wish there would have been a smaller size option as I have a very small stomach due to weight loss surgery. With the $19 mimosa I also got a coffee, eggs with cheese and bacon with a bagel to go for my friend. With tip the bill was $60. Now I realize I’m in South Beach, but I think that is a little excessive for breakfast. Lunch and dinner I understand.“

“This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!!

Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent.

The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait!

Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich.

We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol.

I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped.

Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Try the Cuban sandwich, of course! The pork was lean, the flavors all blended together great, and with some crystal hot sauce, perfection! Erica had the ground beef sandwich which is a Cuban taken on sloppy joes with raisins and olives, absolutely delightful with their “pink sauce” garlic, spicy deliciousness. “We found this restaurant by accident but we were sooooo glad we did! The food was SPECTACULAR. Everything tasted fresh, the burger was so juicy and flavorful, the Philly cheesesteak was so tender and filling. We tried the chai tea (it could use a bit more flavor/syrup) and the taro boba (which was good but they didn’t have the tapioca which would’ve made it so much better). “Zak had been on my list since day one of my trip to Miami, and I finally made it there for brunch. The wait time was about 30 minutes, so I opted for a to-go order. Here’s what I tried:
• Avocado Toast: A well-curated dish. The thinly sliced onions, lime, and paprika dressing were a perfect combination.
• Tomato Bisque & Grilled Cheese Sandwich: Easily the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich was perfectly crisp, and the tomato dip elevated the flavors even further. I savored every bite.
• Mushroom Toast: This one didn’t hit the mark for me. The pairing of the bread with the mushrooms felt off, and the mushroom topping was excessively oily. The cheese didn’t complement the dish either. While it wasn’t terrible, it just wasn’t for me.
• Mango Cheesecake: Inspired by seeing others order it, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did. Every bite was delightful. The star fruit garnish was a pleasant surprise, adding a unique and delicious touch.

The ambience is bustling yet inviting, and the service was impressively quick. I also appreciated the eco-friendly packaging.

Finally, the Matcha Latte was a solid choice.
