“I was working at a construction jobsite paving a parking lot and my boss brought food from here once. Every since I tried it, I've gone back every single day. I never get tired of the food here. El Rapido is run by two people and they absolutely slay every single plate they make.
As a son of Cuban parents, I get white rice, black beans, chicken breast with onions, and plátano maduro. I've never been a person that likes onions but almighty God himself must've instilled the gift of cooking into the man that makes this food cause holy hell I even eat the onions. I'm gonna miss this place when my jobsite is eventually completed, but who knows maybe I'll make the drive up here from Hialeah just to try the food.
Absolutely, 100% PLEASE give these fine people's food a try. If you're Cuban, this will remind you of home. If you're not Cuban and want to try Cuban food, THIS is the place you need to hit up. $10 a plate and you get a lot of food.
These two are the kindest couple I've ever seen run a restaurant. It's like that mom and pop shop type vibe you see in a movie like In the Heights. I just met these people but if anything were to happen to them I'm pretty sure I'd hurt someone.“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. “This was my first time visiting Rose Cafe & Restaurant, which recently expanded and rebranded with a full bar and dinner service, officially opening the new concept in October 2025. The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn’t linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don’t tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn’t say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn’t completely blow my mind, it’s still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I’d honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.“

“This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!!

Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent.

The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait!

Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich.

We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol.

I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped.

“We’ve been coming to Crêpes Delicious at Dolphin Mall for years, and it’s hands down the best one! The chicken Caesar crêpe is savory and satisfying, and the banana split dessert crêpe is absolutely insane—such a treat. Parking is street parking...would not advise you to bring kids unless they are well fed before going...worth the wait“
