“Excellent! I was promptly greeted at arrival. My alcapurrias were delicious, filled with meat, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My husband ordered a tripleta, and it was good as well. I left without having some piano piononos because they had run out, but I'm looking forward to my next visit. Food and customer service were great. As a Puerto Rican, I recommend it.“

“The sandwiches were delicious. We had the Pastrami and the Cuban sandwiches.The pastrami was fresh, sliced by hand. The cuban had ham, pork, Swiss, I opted in for lettuce, tomatoe and onion (non traditional without mustard/pickle). The bread was slightly toasted. Perfection. My hubby is EXTREMELY picky and wanted another one for dinner. Fries good as well. Recommended 100%

“So sad to find out this placed closed. Haven't been to this place in a while so thought to pop on google and check out the hours. I've been going to this place every couple months with my wife since we moved down to the Orlando area 2 years ago. My first time trying arepas was in Miami. Since then, I've tried several other places and this little gem had the most chill and genuine vibe with the most delicious and beautifully prepared arepas dishes I've ever seen. The ingredient quality was high, the price was low, and the staff always treated us nice -- even though Spanish isn't our native language -- always felt welcomed there. What made this place shine on top of those other qualities mentioned was that they had two styles: Colombian and Venezuelan arepas -- and depending on which style you ordered -- it was very distinct and all VERY good. Why is it when I find a place I really like it closes down?? I saw the most recent reviews about the service going downhill and that's a shame -- seems like something internal happened. My experience was nothing like that, though. I'm really heartbroken this place closed and hope whoever was making those amazing dishes will someday resurface back onto the food scene.“

The son is a charmer and very fast with food delivery and ordering. They were just signed with a Disney contract and will be cooking and shipping tons of Seafood! They certainly deserve it. “Just because this location is at a gas station doesn't mean they can't make great food you should stop for. The environment very much felt like a small family owned station making food on the side, with a mostly empty building when I walked in. But the good more than made up for it; the mofongo was delicious and filling, while the garlic chicken was extremely garlic heavy in the best way. For good food while you get gas, or even just a meal that leaves you more than satisfied, try El Criollito.“
