“We were looking for a really good Chinese food place. We found one in China 1. We picked up our order, it was still hot when we got back home. The order was correct ( a problem with other restaurants ). I wanted to tell everyone that the decision to order from China 1 was the right decision. The portions were exceeding our expectations and the food was excellent. The order was packaged very well in containers that were appropriate for the amount of food we received. The sweet and sour chicken was tender, juicy and hot, with plenty of sweet and sour sauce. The rice was cooked perfectly, light, fluffy , not dried out. The steak and brocolli was really great. The right amount of sauce.. The eggrolls were also tender, not tough, and not dry. They were really good. We received plenty of napkins, utensils and again, the amount of food that was unexpected. For anyone wanting really great Chinese food, give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed !! I will recommend China 1 to all my friends and family to go there. I don't believe there is delivery but pick-up. is fast and easy. Give them a try and ENJOY !!!“

My husband and I moved to Palmetto 2 years ago from Boston/New Hampshire and have been looking for a restaurant that serves Chinese food that is made like up north. Well, I have finally found it at Nam Fong. It is just like food from Kowloon. You now have a customer for life !!!“

“I’ve been here so many times I’ve honestly lost count. This is quite literally the best quick serve Chinese restaurant in the area. Their General TSO chicken is amazing and so is their sushi. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the freshness and quality of the chicken they use. The chicken pieces are huge and you can tell it’s totally fresh and not frozen. If you frequently do take out Chinese food and haven’t tried this place then you’re in for a treat. Just about every other take out Chinese restaurant seems to use the same type of chicken - excess breading, small pieces, rock hard crunchiness, etc. The Rice Bowl is truly a breath of fresh air - it’s always fantastic well cooked and you always get a full piece of chicken. Just the right amount of breading and you never feel like you’re biting into a solid piece of breading. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing! :-)“

“So the quality of the food is very good it tastes like real New York quality the rice is interesting I like their rice better when it's cold then when it's hot when it's hot and has kind of an overpowering seafood details and when it's cold the seafood taste goes away“

Bradenton staple!! Very sweet owners, fresh and hot food, great portions for the price. Service used to be quicker but you can always call ahead!! Or you pull through the drive through and park until your order is ready. Prices and menu has changed since COVID so I am attaching a new picture of the menu.“

“Top China is quite good. Many choices to suit plus daily luncheon menue @ $10.75 including a can of pop. We have been twice and will go back. One test for me is how busy a place is. They are quite busy and capable responding to customers. That being busy is important to me as I do not usually go to places that are not busy. It is good substantial proportions. The food stocks in slow not busy places hold food to long before preparation while busy kitchens get it in and get it prepped out the door. You can eat in. Most food seems to be take out. Go, it is good. Enjoy.“

“This is our go-to Chinese restaurant in Lakewood Ranch! They are consistently on time, accurate, and delicious. Their prices are very reasonable for how much food you get, and we have never had an issue with missing items or inaccurate orders. The food is always ready quickly. The staff are polite, professional, and friendly. We have gotten Taste of China for guests and family in the area and never had a single complaint.“

“Love the Krab Rangoon. I see a few reviews complaining about it not having any fake crabmeat and that’s fine with me. I’ve never had a bad meal from this restaurant in the 3 years I’ve been getting my to go fix from them. It’s a little pricey but so is everything else.“

“I moved from Florida 8 years ago and used to eat here before moving. Not sure if the owners have changed but had them again this past week and it felt so nostalgic and tasted just how I remembered it. I got boneless spare ribs and fried rice. Huge portions and decent price. It came with an egg roll which was also good. I unfortunately cannot get something similar in Texas which stinks.

The only con was I also got krab rangoons which tasted awful. And for some reason they had a pink tinge of color to them and the cream cheese didn’t taste right. Would not recommend those.“

“Typical no frills chinese take out experience. The service was kind and it was quick. The food itself is a touch above the standard take out quality you experience around these parts. Lot of reminded me of back up North especially the fried rice. The general tso was crispy and had those sweet sugary crisped edges I love in this dish, the eggrolls were crispy and not oily (the shrimp eggroll was a touch on the salty side)...My family was happy and we would return.“

“My mom and I have been ordering from here for several years. I'm surprised by some of the reviews as we have always enjoyed the food. It's not the BEST but it is GOOD. Now, I do have to say we pretty much get the same thing and have not experienced everything. The chicken & mixed vegetables, kung pao, general tso, the crab Rangoon and egg rolls are all really good. And it's reasonably priced. It's a take out joint not really a dine in.“

“I have ordered from them a few times now and their food is excellent! Their portions are always good, especially with the appetizers and wonton soup. Most restaurants give you 8 wontons and they give you 10 in a large soup. Their prices are good as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!“
