The hostess Helen, bartender/waiter Glen, and the manager Ryan (I apologize if I have that wrong, we only met briefly) were so considerate and went out of their way to take good care of me, even after the mayor of Bradenton and his crew showed up haha! The food was good, the sunset view was phenomenal, and the staff are genuinely so welcoming and kind even when they're super busy!“

“We were greeted immediately upon arrival by Brittney. She was very informative about the menu and brought our food right out. We got our dessert to go. I have since been back for a to go order and was treated with the upmost respect. I ordered onion rings this time with my food and I absolutely loved them!“

“Most amazing German food that I’ve ever had. Servers were very friendly & knowledgeable about the dishes that the chef creates. Add in authentic German beer and this place is a must visit. The falafel was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned inside. The babaganoush was smooth, smoky, and full of flavor. I also tried the chicken/beef mix shawarma, kafta, and fattoush, and every dish was just as delicious. What made the experience even better was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They made me feel right at home, and their passion for the food really shines through. This place is an absolute gem. “Wow - Ortygia has moved forward to a fun and interactive cooking classes, specialty parties, wine dinners and more . Without the restaurant anymore there is so much happening - for low this page and make a reservation- you won’t be sorry. I have been 3 times for series 1,2,and 3 cooking classes - enjoying wonderful filling vegetarian dinners that everyone will love - and you take the recipes home. Wine flows freely, delicious food and great conversation abounds and then you eat - enjoying the Italian scents and savoring the goodness of fresh ingredients. A definite go to on my list and looking forward to making many delicious meals.“
