I recently stopped by LongHorn Steakhouse, and my visit couldn’t have been better. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming—cozy lighting, rustic décor, and that unmistakable aroma of steaks sizzling on the grill.
I started with their famous Wild West Shrimp, which arrived perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. For the main course, I went with the Outlaw Ribeye, cooked to a flawless medium. It was juicy, flavorful, and had that signature char LongHorn is known for. The side of parmesan-crusted broccoli was a surprisingly delicious bonus.
The service was equally impressive. My server was friendly, attentive, and quick with refills and recommendations without ever feeling pushy.
I wrapped things up with their Chocolate Stampede, which was decadent in the best possible way—definitely one to share unless you’re fully committed to a chocolate adventure.

“Our server, Sam, was very good. She helped my wife with a dinner selection and gave her a small cup of sauce to try before ordering the tomahawk pork chop. Our meals were very good although my wife's pork chop was somewhat overdone/ dry ( very easy to overcook that item unless you are a very well trained and observant chef). My salmon dinner and salad were very good. Prices are moderate/good for the type of dinner and service received. We would certainly dine here when we return to the area.“

“Went on August 6, 2025. The food is in the $30's -$50 range per plate. A few more than that. I had the Italian seafood special with shrimps, scallops,mushrooms and a fish fillet over linguine. It was amazing including my caesar salad so good. Cozy environment with a live pianist playing. Very busy place so be prepared to wait.“

“This is the first time I have been to Rick’s. It is very nicely decorated and it is definitely has a old school ambience of a high end steakhouse.

I can tell you it is worth a try as their food was incredible. The steaks was cooked to perfection to my temperature and the butter and seasoning was spot on and made the flavor of each bite that much enjoyable.

The side dishes were a good portion that was actually shareable.

The drinks were made well and the service was great!

They have a pool table so if you want to shoot a game of pool.

There is a gentleman’s club next door but don’t let that bother you if you are hesitant about going. You don’t feel like it is there. However, it is a great spot if you want to enjoy a great meal and then walk through and door and immediately be in one of the best clubs in Florida.

“We enjoyed a delightful dinner at Gorditos Bar & Grill. The ambiance was inviting, servers were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. I liked my yummy Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. My friend's steak with mashed potatoes was wonderful. We will be back. They have lunch specials.“

““ Went in around happy hour for girls night on Thursday, ordered a Mojito. It did not have any mint or enough alcohol. It seemed watered down. The bartender dicey that night seemed upset as we told our waiter we didn’t like the drinks. Felt super uncomfortable. They had a full bar only one person making drinks for the whole restaurant. Happy hour menu was great however, no complaints on the food at all. Flat bread & bang bang shrimp was out of this world. But the service and quality control was easily overlooked, 2 stars.“

“We stayed at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa for 2 nights - we had 3 meals at Council Oak. Once in the dining room and twice at the bar. All I can say is WOW. The food was excellent and the service was the best I have seen in years anywhere... Everyone was attentive.. Smiling.. Made us feel like they were there for us! My wife and I are still taking about it. Great Job!!“

“I’ve dined here a few times and always order the French onions soup, chicken breast with lemon, baked potato (loaded), and sweet potatoes- everything is delicious! My boys usually get the mac and cheese, ribeye steak, or sirloin (medium rare), with sizes like mashed potatoes and French fries. “Jason was good. He just has to slow down to hear & process things being stated. His character & peronality was amazing. The hostess was nice(African American woman short honey blonde hair). The plates/chargers are huge & take up a lot of room for a huge party. (Is that supposed to be, 'Everything is big in Texas?, lol). The mango lemonade was good. The grilled shrimp was superb. The proces are reasonable. It was a nice time and atmosphere.“

“We have been going to Firebirds since they open at Dania Pointe, and we never had a bad meal there. The service is always great, attentive but not too intrusive. I particularly enjoy the 3-course meal on the menu, great value, and you get a soup/salad, entree, and a dessert. The food portion is of good size, so no one left hungry. I would recommend Firebirds.“
