“We stopped at Two Jay’s on August 25th for lunch. Once again, Tracy was our server, which we were pleased to see. She’s always friendly, good to make menu suggestions that might complement our meals, checks back often to see if we need/want anything. She’s a hard worker, never standing still for long, as she’s attending to her customers. Our meals of pasta and shrimp and a club salad were delicious and always enough to have leftovers! We look forward to our next visit!“

“Our wedding was Sunday, 10-06. We had family and friends flying in, all ethnicities that you could think of. This was going to be a dance celebration with a lot of drinks so I wanted the food to taste great and be filling! But it was better than I could have expected. People are still talking about the great flavor of our food! It was so good that the buffet had to shut down because most people were already on their 3rd plates with no intention to stop!? For that reason, we were fortunate to have a little left over for another family dinner the very next day and even when sober, the flavor was even more incredible! For dinner we had, Jamaican Rice and Peas, Haitian Mac Au Gratin, Chicken Creole, and Sweet Glazed Salmon. My husband and I are not Haitian or Jamaican but we love what would hit the spot!! On top of that, Broward Catering also gave me and my husband a side of Filet Mignon and Churrasco. Caitlin was helpful and Suzana was beyond helpful and gave me great pointers, as this was my first time catering to 142 ppl. I couldn’t thank Broward Catering enough and wish them the best with their new ownership of Lavan Venue. Totally was worth it!“

“Douglas K Catering did my wedding in March 2024. Food for 65 people. We did a buffet of about 6 small plate items, and 1 one main dish, all in chafing dishes. It was delicious and more affordable than any other caterer I found. The staff was great, both in ordering everything, and in delivering to the event venue and staffing it with 2 very professional servers. We were so happy with everything they did! And the chicken and waffles dish was the Best!!“

“We ordered our Passover dinner from Adam and joes. They are so amazing. the food was all delicious. The brisket, chicken, soup, carrot soufflé etc were all great. They included everything we needed for the Seder including wine, a box of matzoh and all the fixings for the Seder plate. They even surprised us with an apple cake. They delivered the food on Friday afternoon and shortly after I got a call asking how many people I was having at my Seder because they didn’t think I’d have enough matzoh balls. A little while later someone knocked on the door to deliver more soup and matzoh balls. Who does that??? Adam and joes does. Thank you for making Passover so easy and delicious.“

The tasting for the selection of the menu was very well conducted and we were able to add and change menu items without problem. With my wife we were organizing the wedding from out of state and ended up hiring through Essence Caterers the rental of tables, chairs, silverware, etc. They took charge and set up everything perfectly. The bar service was also very good. I would work again with them for events based on the excellent quality and variety, the service, and above all their organizing abilities and willingness to help make any event a success. Dietary restrictions: They didn’t really have noted gluten free options on menu, but they accommodated so well. The cheesy hash was gluten free, and delicious. They even cleaned the grill for me. I bet if you gave 24 hours notice they would have gluten free bread or tortilla for you. I brought my own.

Parking: There is parking, but you would need to be able to get into yacht haven at there current location.

“My wife and I used Culinary Affairs to cater our wedding reception and cocktail hour at Flamingo Gardens in January of this year. They were phenomenal from the get-go through the execution. They set up a tasting after getting some information about what we had in mind, and everything they made us was so good, it was very hard to decide. “Bride here! Culinary Artz catered for my wedding of about 80 people. The food was delicious. I asked for mainly vegan and vegetarian options, with a few fish options for meat eaters, and everyone kept giving compliments about the food. The mango cream cake was also perfect. Creamy and not too sweet, so good I had 2 big slices. I was also really happy with the catering staff, they were all friendly and helpful, with a cheerful attitude. The Day of Coordinator, Juliana, was on top of everything. She was prepared and proactive the whole day. I really felt in good hands from the start.
