“Across-the-board, this place is outstanding! My friend, and I went to two other pizzerias before she suggested that we come to Kosta's. Being from NY we don't eat just any pizza! We went to Bruscos and they acted like we were invisible, so we left. Kosta's greeted us like family! When they asked if we had ever been there my friend told them she had but I hadn't and we were looking for pizza ! The owner immediately threw a slice of pizza in the oven and split it between us to sample! It was incredible! I ordered a pie , a Greek house salad and 3 different types of desserts to bring home to my hubby who is now also hooked! Our waiter Nick provided service that we haven't seen in a while! He was friendly knew the menu entirely at suggested dishes that he thought we would like, because he loved them! He really made our day after the complete rudeness at Bruscos! We will be back! “Fantastic addition to our neighborhood ! So many options- including Vegan - are appreciated. Super creamy. My 14 yr old loved the cotton candy ice cream with gummies. I chose waffle cone, chocolate yogurt and white chocolate chips. Even though they are just opening, they are incredibly organized, welcoming, and pardon the pun- ‘Chill.’ 😆 🍦 This will become another favorite, just like The Little Coffee Shoppe next door. The owner is Lebanese and you can taste that real homemade touch in every bite. The tabbouleh alone is worth the visit. The plate was a beautiful showcase of classic Lebanese flavors. Silky smooth hummus topped with herbs. Creamy baba ghanoush with a touch of smokiness. Perfectly rolled grape leaves with a fragrant rice and herb filling. Crisp falafel with a tender center. Freshly baked spinach fatayer. Rich tahini sauce on the side and of course, I had to get Kibbeh nayyeh. Everything tasted like a dish made with pride and tradition. From the hospitality to the quality of ingredients to the flavors that remind you what real Lebanese food should taste like Shishka Lebanese Grill stands out in the best way. “I had the best patty melt I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, plenty of cheese and grilled onions. Great fries! But my daughter who is gluten free, is limited to what she can order. She got a Western omelet with her choice of 2 sides. She can't have toast so she ordered potatoes and asked if she could have grits instead of the toast. Nope. That was $4.00 extra! They made money hand over fist on us because her omelet didn't include cheese, that too was extra. We didn't even ask what that would cost. The server never asked if we wanted refills on our tea. So....food was great but I was surprised they didn't charge for salt and pepper!“
