“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“What a Gem! Small and intimate, everything executed perfectly. The vibe, the drinks, and the food all fantastic. Our favorite dish was oyster mushrooms on a bed of greens on toast incredibly flavorful but they change the menu soon so I don't think it's going to be there much longer. Also enjoyed the salmon and tuna crudite. Bartenders were very friendly, perfectly attentive, and professional.“

I will definitely be returning because this is one of the best places I’ve had oxtails and by far the cheapest. Love that they aren’t stingy on the portions. Also they had a small bar & pool table. Looks like a local juke joint type of place.“

“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!“

“This place is beautiful! I was worried this spot wouldn't be able to recover after that horrible hurricane season, but the inside and outside look gorgeous. We had Jen as our server and she was on point, knowledgeable, and fun. The food is delicious. We especially loved the bone in ribeye and seafood tower. Loved the pink flamingo cocktail and their wine selection is very smart too. Have to try the fluffy mai tai next time because the guava foam looks delicious. We will be back!“

Looked on the map and found this little hidden gem. You walk in and order at the counter, grab a drink and pay. Definitely a locals place but I loved every minute of it. Live music was a plus. When was a big Great Dane like and it tried to eat the food off a guy's plate he was getting disgusted. The other dog was smaller but still a pain in the ass . People need to keep their dogs at home.“
