“Panko fried shrimp Very good! Cooked to perfection. Coleslaw flavorful! Margarita flat bread *amazing. For an appetizer, it was flavorful, colorful, and filling. Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. Mom and I had Doc's for lunch and have leftovers to enjoy for later and will be back again!“

“This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“I felt like I was back home. I’m from Pittsburgh and the owners are from there too. I met John and he and his staff made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere is nice, as well as decked out in Steeler paraphernalia. So if you’re a Steelers fan, you will love it. My wife got a BA fish sandwich. It was HUGE, and delicious. We also got a 16” pizza pie, the great white shark. It was delicious. Prices are great, service is terrific and food is hot and fresh. What else can you ask for. We will be back.“

“Wow! Had never been until last night, although we frequently visit Sanibel. Can’t say enough about the quality of the food. My new all time favorite. A salad with tomatoes, watermelon, mozzarella, roasted pumpkin seed and a great dressing. Smoked tenderloin was a unique and fantastic dish.“

I grew up going to Pete’s Time Out on Fort Myers Beach, went almost every weekend until we no longer could and they had the best breakfast. My wife needs gluten free food and this is one of the few places that is committed to keeping the few prep clean so there is no cross contamination. Bri and Kristen answered her questions and addressed her concerns and the manager came out to reinforce Ford’s commitment as well as deliver the food. Our bartenders kept us hydrated and jumped through hoops to make our dining experience excellent. Thanks Kristen and Bri!“

I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“Great food but most importantly, great people make this restaurznt the best of it's kind anywhere in SW Florida. Shrimp portions are generous and if you like real southern cooking. Their authentic gumbo and creole jambalaya will warm your heart. If you happen to want an even warmer heart, you can up the heat with the ghost pepper version. You will encounter some great cooks and some attentive servers who will make your visits habit-forming!“

The bartenders were awesome—super friendly, attentive, and fast despite the crowd. What really impressed us was the food. For a dive bar, the quality was way above expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.

“terrible owner who thinks they can call their customers liars when they get sick off of their food. CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should....
