“Food was delicious. Prime rib was delicious but room temperature. Beautiful place. New owners. The woman spoke in French with my mom which was super duper fun.

Notified waiter of dairy allergy but was served green beans cooked in butter. Wow were they delicious. But I got sick. The chef talked to me at 10:30p at night and is committed to doing better in the future. I will eat there again but will be very clear about the allergy. Delicious food and really nice people!

Dietary restrictions: Failed to accommodate stated dairy allergy of butter on the beans. Received conflicting information as to butter on the prime rib.

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“Wow! Had never been until last night, although we frequently visit Sanibel. Can’t say enough about the quality of the food. My new all time favorite. A salad with tomatoes, watermelon, mozzarella, roasted pumpkin seed and a great dressing. Smoked tenderloin was a unique and fantastic dish.“

The bar food is really good (I recommend their wings and cheesesteak ). They regularly have live entertainment both inside and outside. And BONUS, they support the community in multiple ways. I grew up going to Pete’s Time Out on Fort Myers Beach, went almost every weekend until we no longer could and they had the best breakfast. “Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“La Ola Surfside Bell Tower Shops 3-29-25 Stopped by on around 11:15a on a Saturday. We were the first people in to sit at a table. This place was clean, neatly organized and gave us a beachy vibe with all the Reggae music playing throughout. Janet our waitress came over fast and took our drink orders. Once our drinks were delivered, she took our food orders. I ordered the Fish & Chips which came with Fried Fish, Fries & Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Lobster Roll which came with Lobster on a Toasted Bun with Lettice and for her side she got the Coleslaw. Our orders came out in reasonable time and all our food looked amazing. My Fish was light and not heavy on the breading just how I like it. I loved the fish and Tartar Sauce that came with it. The Fries were very good and even the Coleslaw was good as it had some Pineapple in it. My wife loved her Lobster Roll and Coleslaw. She is from Maine and stated it was one of the best Lobster Rolls she had in this area so far. All our food was hot and plenty of it. Janet kept on top of things checking on us a bunch of times. We will return here or stop by Ft. Myers Beach location as to try them all. Everyone needs to stop by and give this place a try you will not be sorry. Needed a little more chicken in my chicken Philly to make it great. Overall a good choice. Service was attentive and friendly. “Stopped in quick with my wife just to get a drink and a few apps.
The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.“
