“It's not the prettiest place but the best biscuits in town by far! I go here for the veggies too! Easy, in and out, food to go or you can dine in though it's a lot of our construction crews here eating on the way to work, at break or for their lunch.

“It was our first time going, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but as we were pulling in the parking lot, a man rolled down his window and told us the food was awesome and to try the pork chops. We tried the simple starter. Bread, oil, and herbs. Simple but flavorful! Highly recommend I had the side summer salad and Krioyo pasta. The salad, no joke, was amazing. Full of color and flavor, might be the best salad I’ve ever eaten. The pasta was a generous serving, creamy and spicy with sausage and shrimp, full of flavor! My husband had the pork chops, cheese grits, and fries (I wish he got the collards instead of the fries, but it *was* his meal, so…). The cheese grits were a delicious surprise to me. So, so, so good. If we go back, I’m definitely ordering them (and the collards). The pork chops were, true to our parking lot critic’s word, awesome. I will definitely return. The atmosphere was laid back and wonderful, the food delicious, and the team members were fantastic. 10 out of 10 recommend! “I never do reviews, but this little bar & grill was awesome! The food was the best I’ve had in 30a. I’ve driven by it numerous times but we stopped today and so glad we did. Grilled shrimp tacos and the jalapeño margarita were wonderful. The service was top notch too!!“

“Shelby’s is my new favorite spot! The food was amazing — we had the hamburger, bang bang shrimp, and nachos, and everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful, especially Michelle, who made the night extra fun. We went on Wednesday for bingo and had an absolute blast! As a local, I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. Great food, great people, and such a fun atmosphere — can’t wait to go back!“

“Stopped by here for an affordable lunch on our way down 30A. It's a little off the route but well worth the detour!
We had their steak Philly and gyro and fries and they were both amazing.
The meat and the Philly was very tender. Aunt, the steak just melted in your mouth chopped very fine. It was very flavorful and the bread was very soft but had a delicious toastedness.
The Euro was probably the best I've ever tasted. The meat was seasoned perfectly and seared to perfection with the perfect ratio of meat to toppings including fresh tzatziki and feta.
The fries were also cooked to perfection with a tasty seasoning and the best fry sauce ever! Reminiscent of Cane's sauce.
Additionally, the owner of the restaurant is incredibly nice and treats you as instant friends. The moment you walk through the door, he's very caring and provided exceptional service and attention to detail. Needless to say, we were very happy to stumble upon this sandwich shop and will be certain to find out way back!“

“We went here last night 6.19.25 & Paris was our waitress and she went above and beyond. This place was packed from the moment it opened, we were her first night table of 12& she instantly had a bigger table of 15 and she handled both with grace and the most professionalism! We will 100% be back because of the food and Paris! Also, the food was so amazing. Great portion sizes! Outside there is a pool full of alligators that you can look at while you wait!“

“We stumbled upon this place while going somewhere else, and I am so glad we did. We had- steak, scallops, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, and blackened shrimp. When I tell you this is the best all around restaurant we have tried while on vacation I am not kidding. The quality and portion size for the price point cannot be beat. Everything we had was perfect. Service was excellent and we ate in less than an hour. 10/10 recommended and we will be back every time we visit.“

Also, the food comparing to the other food trucks are a bit cheaper which is great for someone who doesn’t want to spend much money here. “Walked in at 3:15 pm and was told I couldn't sit at a table and eat or drink a drink. There was a wedding rehearsal going on outside so that was out of the question too. The level of condescension from the female bartender was unfathomable. What a joke! After reading reviews mirroring my own experience and descriptions of the food likening it to overpriced Golden Corral buffet junk, I think it's safe to say I dodged a bullet !“

They fed our large group and everyone loved it. The Longleaf Writers Conference is a big fan of Bud & Alley's - a supporter of our local educational outreach program for ten years! (The rooftop bar for sunset can't be missed.)“

“We dined twice yesterday at AJ’s! For lunch we had the Navy bean and ham soup and also a cup of gumbo. Man it was good! For dinner we had oyster bar happy hour (about $12 per dozen raw). The prime rib was discounted too and they were both great! My compliments to both the chef and the oyster shucker!!“
