“Wow I literally just finished my meal and went straight to yelp because the seafood was that good. It reminded me of Baja California but with gulf coast local seafood. I enjoyed the authentic food and environment. Ive been looking all over for a spot like this and I was lucky to have found this hidden gem. You can tell they cook from the heart. I ordered the 7 mares soup and every type of fish in the soup was extremely fresh and tasty. I also ordered the shrimp cocktail and fish ceviche which was also ridiculously good. Im already looking forward to going back.“

“The food and the service were good, but the AC wasn't working. They had large fans, but it was very warm in there. After getting our food, I asked if they could turn the fan over to our side of the restaurant. They did and it helped somewhat. Based on the service, food and willingness to accommodate my request, I would recommend them and plan to visit again.“

“Try Keith’s Oaks Bar and Grill in Brandon (🙂 108 Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Brandon, FL 33511-5306)! It’s a friendly place with good food (and Modelo). Nothing fancy. I had The Bandit, a pounded, dipped and fried pork chop that covered the plate and crispy sweet potato fries. I snagged a bite of loaded steak, which had terrific flavor, and the shrimp were luscious biggies. Used to be A-1-A Cafe. Give this out of the box choice a try.“

“Burnin Barber-Que catered my daughter’s graduation party and to say that the food was spectacular is an understatement!! Their BBQ and sides were/ are the best that I have had in YEARS!!!!! I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be returning when I come back to Tampa!!“

A week after Helene we were hard pressed to find something open or a full menu available or accepting credit cards...etc. Lolis isn't the most aesthetically pleasing venue, because it's a counter where you place orders and a very modest dining room where the food is brought to you when ready. On the front counter is a plastic utensil dispenser next to one delivering a napkin per pull.

If you don't care about any of that but love authentic Mexican food, then you're in luck! As I wrote, we had a large group and most ordered different items. All of us agreed the offerings were made from fresh, high quality ingredients. Even something as simple as queso and chips was great with corn, onion, a few other vegetables mixed in the cheese. It's a bit pricey for an establishment with its "look" however you'll get premium taste for that $12-$20 per person!

Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small because the property is a strip mall and there are other businesses; however some of the post-Milton damage may have obscured some spots.“

“We stayed at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa for 2 nights - we had 3 meals at Council Oak. Once in the dining room and twice at the bar. All I can say is WOW. The food was excellent and the service was the best I have seen in years anywhere... Everyone was attentive.. Smiling.. Made us feel like they were there for us! My wife and I are still taking about it. Great Job!!“

“Omg, this is the best Chinese restaurant that I have eaten from in a very long time. I thought that Tung Tung was good but they could not touch this place, the food when I bit into the chicken wing was soooo delicious, the egg roll was good the kam pao chicken was great and I tasted my husband's shrimp fried rice and it was amazing ?
