“We came in with a big group and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast, even with how many of us there were. The sushi was top-notch, and the hibachi was super flavorful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of — friendly, attentive, and really on top of everything. Highly recommend this spot for both small dinners and larger gatherings. We'll definitely be back! Bonus was that the left over hibachi was really good the next day.“

“I ordered the bestselling Golden Boy for the first time and I instantly got hooked by the taste, the freshness, the quality of ingredients. I’m a trainee sushi chef and have been all over Tampa Bay Area to try various sushi places and didn’t realize if there is a great sushi place within my 10-minutes drive distance. I don’t need to go to Orlando or downtown Tampa anymore, very sure this cozy family-run place can even do really well in NYC and Tokyo. Both owners Pat and Jack are so accommodating and friendly. This place welcomes you like friends making you feel home.“

I really appreciated that they didn’t make us join another group. The decor is so cool and pretty. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion. We started with soup, miso and a chicken broth, then had gyoza and a sushi roll then shared a hibachi style teriyaki chicken. The hibachi was just ok, kind of reminded me of mall food. “I am always wary of take out sushi as it can be a hit or miss. Ichiban is a direct hit!! I got tuna ad salmon nigiri/sashimi and the quality was spot on and delicious. no soy sauce needed.
