“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. Thank you again Jorge, & Kristina .“

“I took my mom and grandson here for brunch and we had the best, most friendly service! The food was fantastic!! At the table we ordered 1) the everything omelette 2) lemon blueberry pancakes 3) 6 mammoth muffins to go, and of course coffee! I ordered the side of fruit with my omelette, and the quality wasn’t great, but fruit isn’t in season right now, and it didn’t affect my experience. 10/10 would recommend!!“

“I am visiting my sister and brother-in-law in Brooksville, FL and on 1-5-2026 they took me to Cody's Original Roadhouse in Spring Hill, FL. The food was absolutely delicious and was hot upon arrival. I had the chicken, with cheese and sweet potato fries and a salad - it was absolutely divine. We had the fried cheese sticks as well as an appetizer and they were well portioned and delicious. My sister had the french onion soup and the half rack with shrimp and fries which was also yummy. My brother-in-law had the haddock with a baked sweet potato and he loved it. On top of the fact that the food was wonderful, the price was reasonable our server Brian F. was engaging, prompt, new the menu items well. I really want to call out Brian F. as his service was exceptional and service such as this needs to be recognized. Always smiling, communicated well, checked on us often and overall was OVER THE TOP!. I also appreciated the fact that the Manager Amanda checked on us to ensure all was well. A huge thank you to Brian F. salute to the chef and kitchen staff, for the delicious, well presented hot meals, and to Amanda for a very well run dining experience. Happy 2026, we will be back!!!!“

“As a 45 year old foodie who’s been to many Michelin starred restaurants, Nouvelle Cuisine is hands down our favorite restaurant in Hernando County! The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is always consistent and impeccably executed.. We generally get the rack of lamb, filet, or specialty selections like elk or veal. Chef Kinds, Isabelle, and staff always make sure our experience is nothing short of amazing!! The escargot and European cheese board are always a must. The wine selection is spectacular and Isabelle’s wine knowledge is always spot on. The desserts are truly chefs kiss. The white chocolate marscapone cheesecake with raspberry coulis is our absolute favorite!❤️ I promise, you’ll not be disappointed..“

“My husband and I attempted to watch the sunset at Pine Island, apparently half of Spring Hill had the same idea...we missed it and decided to have dinner at Bayport Inn. Even though we were there 15min before closing, the hostess said we could still order and let us pick out a table. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing! She went above and beyond, even though it was closing time. The food was wonderful and the price was great for the amount of food we received. We highly recommend having dinner here. They also have gift shops in the back. When it gets cooler we will be back to sit on the patio and enjoy some live music. This may be our new favorite place to go. Thank you to Nicole for making our evening memorable, even though we missed the sunset.“

“This is our first time at Spring Hill location. We placed an online order a week in advance but we were told by staff that they are out of order at the time of arrival. We did not get any notification only to email to pick up an order at designated time. It would be better for the store to reserve the order for people who have ordered/paid/planned to pick up instead of selling to walk in customers.We were offered the whole turkey to replace our order at no extra charge. We accepted it. Just be mindful that online order does not guarantee that your food will be there.“

“We, my husband, my husband's cousins, and I, used to eat here all the time....at least once a week. That was, until this "Covid"- thing cut into their hours and business. Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. Now, closing at 2, haven't been back in months, if not more. Today is Sunday. Think they would be open all day, but, no. Still closing at 2. Very sad. Love the food, though, but can't eat there if they aren't open.“

“I cant say I don't recommend but it's either yes or no. My husband ordered steakburger and loved it. Their biscuits are the best. I ordered Chicken Tenders, Frys, Coleslaw. Frys were undercooked. The Tenders overcooked, just a tad less than burnt. Called Waitress, at first she was ok and said order something else because this is how we have to cook them. I ordered a turkey club to go. I asked for something to put my Coleslaw in. she then rudely told me I couldn't have it. I asked her if she wanted my Biscuit and Frys. She said no. I should have paid for the Burger and left. Why were my Tenders crusted with reminds of hash browns? Why were home frys scattered in our frys? I'm guessing Chicken is being cooked with frys, home frys and hash browns. 🤔 Waitress should have been nicer. My goodness, I didn't burn my Tenders, you're throwing Coleslaw away, would it have been so horrible to say for the inconvenience, I'll be happy to get you a container. I seriously thought I was switching the Tenders for the Sandwich.“

“Every time we come to glory days we are always meted by Amanda, our favorite server. It’s such a nice home town feeling every time we see her and she remember all of our names. We know that we’re in good hands when she’s serving on us.“

Order to table is 10 minutes unless really busy. Since known for shakes, you have to try one. My favorite is mint chocolate chip, to die for! Was part of my date night as part of my stay cation 2 day trip with fiancee!!“

“The food is always outstanding here and ever since they remodeled the restaurant, it is much brighter and a positive vibe to it!! And as always the servers here are fantastic especially Tammee!! She is a fantastic person and great to talk to. We had a fabulous eating experience here and she was very attentive in clearing our dishes plus refilling our drinks.

This server was great. The restaurant appears clean.
