“Shout out to Harley who waited on us a few weeks ago. She was very attentive and went above and beyond . My 89 year old mom was with us and she was so kind as to push mom in closer to the table as we were in the high top chairs that you need help to get closer . Also mom ordered peel and eat shrimp and she peeled them for mom! Wow….. So very kind of her ! The meal was also delish! Thank you Harley!”

I particularly appreciated how effortlessly they handled my request for an iced shaken espresso, only needing to confirm my flavor and milk choices. “This is our favorite stop for a sweet treat and coffee when in St.George-Apalach area. Honestly, we’re a bit obsessed. The mile high pies and homemade sweet and savory pastries are my personal vacation dream come true! The kids dig the gelato and fun juice/smoothie combos. There’s something here for everybody!”

“A buddy and I have been coming here for red snapper season each summer for about five years.
Pros:
1. Good fishing.
2. Friendly staff.
3. Old Florida laid back vibe.
4. The site is lovely.
5. Has an on-site boat ramp.
6. Has an on-site bait and tackle store.
7. Have watched bald eagles nestled among the tree tops while sitting on the porch of our cabin.
8. Boat dockage is free if you rent lodging.

Cons:
1. Spiders living inside of the rental cabin.
2. Furniture
3. Biting insects
4. No screen porch on cabin”

“We met our nephew and his wife for lunch who were visiting and enjoyed everything! Mahi basket, grouper basket, Creek burger, and crab cake basket were all amazing! The gumbo was excellent. Great service and great view. Saw a gator in the river too. 😳😱 we haven’t been here in awhile but definitely back on our list of favs.”

“I rode the coast over from the other side of Tallahassee just to enjoy a nice Saturday and ended up in Apalachicola. I checked Google for a good place and Hope in the Wall was tops and right in front of me. The oysters were outstanding, the grouper was really good and even though the place was packed out, everyone was really friendly. Had a chance to talk to a couple of employees working oysters and the bar and they were super. 100% going back again.”
