“Very kind manager and staff, I embarrassingly and accidentally spilt a drink and the manager was extra nice! He gave a new drink entirely. The food was amazing and delicious Cuban food, my friends who are Cuban said was amazing. Tried the ropa vieja, Cuban tamal, and everything was hot and deliciously made. “What can I say about three palms? Firstly, I walked in, to place an order for our school for the teachers welcome back breakfast. Not only did Bertha, Ivon and Lady make me feel right at home, they literally make you one of the family! Next thing I know there’s a plate of arroz con pollo in front of me and I’m getting shown all the photos of her granddaughter’s quinciniera! Im sold! Had an absolutely delicious Cuban sandwich with suckling pig meat and ham. My dad had a mofongo looking dish, that he enjoyed.
There was only one young woman actually working, and even though we were the only customers, we felt rushed to order. Mightve been a language barrier as we stated we needed a minute and she asked a few seconds later.
Then two drunk guys had her attention even they didn't buy anything, and it took forever to get the check. Only other employee sat at the register and didn't look up from his phone once.
Great food, but for those prices and lack of patrons, the service should be better. Was over $40 for two meals and two sodas.“

Omg to be completely honest I was amazed how good the food was! The Palomilla steak was so much better than even Versailles !!! The batido was perfect! The food is actually very close to home cooked! Tweak the beans a little bit and they have a great flavor! I will definitely come here again if I’m in the area again!

“I was working at a construction jobsite paving a parking lot and my boss brought food from here once. Every since I tried it, I've gone back every single day. I never get tired of the food here. El Rapido is run by two people and they absolutely slay every single plate they make.
As a son of Cuban parents, I get white rice, black beans, chicken breast with onions, and plátano maduro. I've never been a person that likes onions but almighty God himself must've instilled the gift of cooking into the man that makes this food cause holy hell I even eat the onions. I'm gonna miss this place when my jobsite is eventually completed, but who knows maybe I'll make the drive up here from Hialeah just to try the food.
Absolutely, 100% PLEASE give these fine people's food a try. If you're Cuban, this will remind you of home. If you're not Cuban and want to try Cuban food, THIS is the place you need to hit up. $10 a plate and you get a lot of food.
These two are the kindest couple I've ever seen run a restaurant. It's like that mom and pop shop type vibe you see in a movie like In the Heights. I just met these people but if anything were to happen to them I'm pretty sure I'd hurt someone.“

“I visited Miami and decided to try Cuban cuisine. I went to Mary's Cuban Cafe. The cafe is small and shared a space with the liquor store. You can dine in at a counter with bar stools or sit at tables outside. I ordered the cuban sandwich (pulled pork, ham and cheese) with shoestring potato chips and a mango berry smoothie. The food was really good. The staff did not speak fluent English, therefore, you have to be patient. The food is cooked to order. Expect to wait about 20 to 25 mins for your food. If I'm in Miami I will go here again!

Michelin stars brings prestige but doesn’t mean your experience will be the best. But it does give a level of expectation. Not sure what is going on at Le Jardiner. Interior looks like every Miami kitchen. White glossy, walls, simple white tables with lots of green accents. BORING! Service is outstanding, worthy of the stars. Food? Oh you thought I would forget? It’s not worth writing about. Simple, nothing outstanding, nice but for 250 a head we needed more. The beef was ok, a bit chewy for a great cut of meat. Sea bass was very good. Dessert ok, the watermelon juice before is really…WTF? Seriously nothing more creative? Miami is a hot food town, Michelin’s arrival brings excitement and expectation, sorry got to say, pass on Le Jardinier.“
