“The empanadas, calamari for apps were just delicious. Then had a shrimp alfredo pasta that was so tastey. Carlos was very kind and made the experience amazing for us by being so accomodating. “Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Shout out to my server Paula who was friendly, attentive, and personable!“

“There is a reason this establishment is a destination. If you are in Miami, this is a must to enjoy. From coffee to dessert, your palate deserves this experience.
Update 1/2026: I brought friends this time. They absolutely loved it. The crème brûlée is a must. Food was phenomenal and walked the complete location. The pastries look amazing and had coffee at the coffee bar. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended.“

“Amazing food and perfect atmosphere! We sat on the upper patio — right next to the stage — and had a great view of the live music. The service was fantastic (thank you Edwin!!!). The New Yorker (whiskey sour) was one of the best cocktails I've ever had (old fashioned was delicious, too.) We had a long, leisurely meal and enjoyed every second of it. Highly recommend!“

“We needed to grab a quick bite before heading to our hotel after a 10 hour drive and The Bored Cuban was around the corner from our hotel. We thought we were just getting some quick, basic food but it ended up being the best meal of our whole vacation!! We got two different flat breads and a Cuban sandwich and it was more than enough for our family of 4. Both flatbreads were phenomenal and anything but basic! The atmosphere was fun too.“

“The female staff spoke Spanish only so communication was lost in translation, only the female owner spoke English. They are incredibly busy as their sandwiches are delicious and popular. We ordered a beef sandwich (Pan Con Bistec), a classic Cuban sandwhich made with pork(Miami), and a Pepsi zero as they do not have diet Coke. This is a take out only joint. Food came quickly. I loved the classic Cuban sandwich, it reminds me of the Montreal sandwich. The portion was so big, we got 2 meals out of it. Ps: they do not accept cash, only credit card through their square machine. Sandwich was priced between $14.25 -$15.75, very reasonable.“
“Don’t sleep on this place! It used to be La Colada Gourmet, but goes by this name now. They still have a lot of the same dishes if not all the same. Also still have delicious coffee drinks.
The hubby and I started with the Yuca bread which was warm, soft and perfectly toasty on the outside. Both the beef tallow butter and coconut butter were perfect, along with the orange zest sea salt.
We both then got the Picadillo as we didn’t want to share 😆; it’s SO delicious & flavorful, and he got the oxtail which was also flavorful and so so tender.
We then ended with the creamiest flan, amazing 305 Cafe, & Cafe Wynwood. The artistry on the coffee drinks was on point!
I can’t forget to speak about the service we received from Rosemary. Very attentive but not overbearing! The rest of the team was on top of it too! Thank you all, we will of course be back!“

“We had breakfast at the restaurant of this hotel on our last day of our 5 week vacation.
The food was great, exactly what we ordered and had requested.
The service was AMAZING: IRKA took care of us so gracefully and she was so wonderful.
Definitely will be back.

“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner while in Miami for a very quick visit with my son and his partner. This place is so cute and clean, and the sandwiches and coffee are absolutely amazing! “This is where the locals go. Excellent Cuban food excellent price! I ate a couple days ago two blocks from here it was $60 for nachos. Today I ate here the food was better and about $11 for a bowl which came with a large portion of meat I chose pork rice a salad and fried plantain. The food was authentic and excellent!“

The guava and cheese pastry is my favorite—it’s sweet, buttery, and melts in your mouth. Great service from Barbara and rest of the stuff very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you love Cuban pastries!“
