“Very friendly staff and good atmosphere! We had the Cuban sandwich and avacado toast and some cold draft peroni beers! They were very accommodating to our needs and sat us away from a nice family with kids so we could have private adult conversation without disturbing them! ( it can be noisy on the beachfront cafes so you have to talk a bit louder!) overall very nice place!“

Salads are also small and underwhelming. They are also $20 , but I would consider them a side salad.“

“Love at first bite! Louie’s version of the pan con bistec is excellent. The empanadas are on point. The smash burger is quite possibly the best in Miami. Truffle fries are a must. John the bartender is that cousin from New York you didn’t know you had! This spot is a Must-go no need to dress up but do come hungry !“

“Good food (Cuban sandwich was pretty good, but not close to the best I’ve had in Miami; one negative about it, is that its bread was mushy/gooey around the edges — this is a rookie mistake with sandwiches, something you’d expect to see at a Publix deli, maybe, but not at a 4.9 restaurant).

Service was easily 5 star — Michael was my server, and did a great job.

Vibe / decoration / music / etc. easily a 5, too. All of that was great.

The food was overrated at 4.9, based on the sandwich I ordered, but I couldn’t bring myself to give it a 4 (that seemed more off than a 5)—so I rounded up, given the service and atmosphere.“

“This is really the best food we had in town. Authentic Cuban food, large portions, and excellent prices. We tried the Cuban Deluxe sandwich and Ropa Viejo. Food bowl can easily feed two people. Both were excellent. My wife and I came to South Beach for a short weekend and we only regret that we did not discover Cuban Cafe on our first day in town. Once we discovered it, we did not go to any other restaurant. It is conveniently located on the 11th street but it is easy to miss it, because the store is small and the sign is not easily visible among other multiple adjacent store signs. I will definitely buy again and recommend it to others.“

It has changed owners but they have stayed true to the food for the community . 5 stars from me the service is great the ladies that work the bar make you feel at home ! Always smiling & greeting as you go into and leave the place ! I love this place I'll suggest this place to anyone curious on trying some good cuban food at not souch a high price either very reasonable. “While on vacation, my whole family wanted to sleep in. Since I am an early person, I went out to find coffee. I stumbled across this restaurant by my hotel and ordered a hot breakfast. I visited every morning for a week. On the 2nd day that I visited, there were a couple old regulars offered me a shot of coffee. Ever since then, I was hooked. It is now one of my favorite things to order in Miami! All the staff and people in the restaurant were all friendly.“

“We were there for New Year’s Eve and wow the service of the bartenders were outstanding!!!
It was definitely a crazy night for them but still manage to serves us very very well.
I can’t remember their names but all I know is a short Cuban guy and a Colombian the ones we got served by.

We will definitely be back to this place whenever we’re in town.

“This place has the best cafe con leche (latte) and pan con mantequilla (toast with butter). They are open late at night and early in the morning. They also have good media noche and Cuban sandwiches and plantains. They have a wide menu of food and drinks and low prices.“
