“We're visiting Miami and wanted to try Cuban food..Esquina Cubana didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the special combo the croquettes , fried yuca and those empanadas soooo good. I ordered the fried snapper, the snapper was seasoned just right and the rice was yummy. Our server Cristian was great , very attentive. All I can saw is chef' s kiss...10/10.“

“Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Shout out to my server Paula who was friendly, attentive, and personable!“

The New Yorker (whiskey sour) was one of the best cocktails I've ever had (old fashioned was delicious, too.) We had a long, leisurely meal and enjoyed every second of it. Highly recommend!“

“This is where the locals go. Excellent Cuban food excellent price! I ate a couple days ago two blocks from here it was $60 for nachos. Today I ate here the food was better and about $11 for a bowl which came with a large portion of meat I chose pork rice a salad and fried plantain. The food was authentic and excellent!“

“After exploring North Beach and searching for Cuban food in the area, we stopped in for a late afternoon lunch. The restaurant is nicely tucked away on the second floor of a well-appointed building and feels comfortable and inviting, with a quiet, homey vibe.
On to the food, the croquetas were delicious, and the guava shake tasted refreshingly homemade. The churrasco (steak) with its lovely sauce, along with the masas de puerco (pork chunks), were very tasty and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The side orders of rice, maduros, and beans were equally satisfying.

Our server was very attentive, and we even received a visit from the owner to make sure everything was going well, which it definitely was. Having access to the beach path after our meal was a beautiful way to end the visit. Thank you!“

“If you’re staying in midbeach and looking for delicious Cuban food, you’ve found it! I’m in Miami for one day, and we are having dinner at a fancier restaurant. I was looking for an authentic, hole in the wall place- and this is it. I’ll be talking about the beef empanadas and chicken empanadas to anyone that will listen for years to come. It’s a few blocks off of Collins and definitely worth the short walk.“

“Amazing service, amazing food! We often stay at a hotel near by and eat here at least a few times every trip. My favorite dinner meal is the churrasco skirt steak with chimichurri and shrimp. Superb! Also, love their lemonade and mango shake. Breakfast is also great. Will be coming back here every time!“
