Jasmine Cafe & Lounge

I really liked Jasmine, the environment, and the food was good. But I do think there are better places in Tallahassee for sushi. The place is pretty small so the couple of times I've gone I've usually had to wait a bit, but nothing insane. The side salad I really like because the sauce is light yet has flavor. I probably wouldn't come to eat anything here that isn't sushi or a bento box just because I think those are their best plates, and for Asian food there are way better places....read full review

Jasmine Cafe isn't the best sushi I have had in Tallahassee, but the miso soup was very good. This is a good place to go after class or after a night out because it's right off college ave. If you're not super picky about your sushi they have a great lunch deal which comes with two rolls of your choice, and a soup or salad for $9. I came here Friday night for a late dinner with one other person and we were not all that impressed. We arrived around 9 p.m. and they were absolutely slammed! It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come introduce herself, so we ordered our food along with our drinks.
