We’re from S. Florida and whenever we visit Tallahassee, we always stop at Mo Betta BBQ for brisket. We generally spend between $30 and $50. Yesterday we stopped and noticed there was no smoke coming from any of the grills. We were hoping they weren’t closed. The brisket was really dry and tasted as if it was leftover.. Went yesterday got a slab of ribs a couple sides and a bit of brisket to try. The briskets has a nice flavor to it. The ribs were dry rub. Everything was nice and tender. Food was excellent a little different then I’m used to but it was really good. My husband finished off the leftovers today. He said the beans were phenomenal. We Definitely will return. I want to try nachos next. The man and woman running it were very sweet this place is all around great. Definitely worth trying...read full review
This is my first time trying Mo Betta BBQ. I should have tried it sooner. The brisket on a bun was so delicious. The juicy, tender brisket, the soft bun, covered in the perfect amount of sweet & savory bbq sauce. Then there was the Mac & cheese ?...... creamy with a hint of pepper. Loved every bite and will be back.
