We had the pleasure of dining today at Chez Leon. I had the Beef Bourguignon which came with mashers and butternut squash squares that were braised with real maple syrup. The beef was tender and juicy in a deliciously unctuous gravy that paired perfectly with the mashers. My other half had the Chicken Cordon Bleu which had a crispy outside and juicy center. Stopped for lunch and got the burrata and seasonal fruit salad (currently grilled peaches). Best salad of my entire life!!!
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely and fresh lunch here. The maple salmon was phenomenal and was quite similar to a quebecois style.

Chez Leon is a fantastic spot, either as a food truck with a cozy, sheltered patio or as a charming French bistro. The food is amazing, delicious, and exceptional, with everything made from scratch. Must-try dishes include the Beef Bourguignon, the onion jam appetizer, the croque madame, the Pasta Bolognese, the naughty pear salad, the maple salmon, and the salmon and salad. Portions are large and offer good value for money. The service is amazing, very friendly, warm, and welcoming, with a highly experienced chef. The owners are really nice and care about the community, offering a program to give meals to the hungry. It is a true gem and highly recommended.
