“Bee’s Island Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Tampa. I always order the jerk chicken plate, and it never disappoints. The chicken is tender, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly with that authentic island heat. The portion size is generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. What really stands out is the service — every time I’ve gone, my food has been ready fast and the staff is friendly and efficient. “The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

“We are so thrilled that Hey Mon opened up within WALKING distance of our house. We will definitely become regulars. Our whole family loves their Puff Bread . The Roti Bread is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The sauces are delicious! We haven’t even begun to try the dinners but we’ll be back!!! My goal is to make my way through the entire menu by the end of the summer. We go to the Caribbean every year for Spring Break. What a way to have the islands here all year round!“

“Fantastic flavor! Jerk chicken is the perfect spice level, not too hot (but I can always add scotch bonnet sauce from home!) And the oxtail is perfect, falling off the bone. We will definitely return! Just moved to Seffner and now I feel at home 🤩“

“Food is delicious, innovative, very three-dimensional. The octopus tostada is amazing. That Latin inspired kimchi is so good. The Tiradito with the passion fruit leche de tigre and the Hawaiian sweet potato was amazing. We tried most of the menu and it was truly incredible. The service was impeccable. Ronni was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and polite. We give 2 thumbs up!!“

“Dec.2022 Excellent Jamaican food. There was a group of us there having lunch. We had curried goats, fried fish among other dishes. I had the curried goat and it was very delicious. I was truly impressed and will definitely return whenever I am in town as I was visiting from Texas.“

“Decided to try this spot as I was in the area even though lots of reviews said this lady had a major attitude problem but I figured why not still try.
So yes...homegirl does need to adjust the attitude but within the 20 mins of waiting for my food people kept coming in to place orders attitude or not. I ordered doubles which was actually the best I've had in Tampa and also got buss up shot with bone in curry chicken which was excellent. Will I be visiting again? Definitely yes!!!! Sometimes we can't have it all and if this is the lady demeanor so be it, her food is excellent!!!“

“Been in Tampa from Miami for 4-5 years now and this tasted like home. Food was great. The service was immaculate and you can tell they’re doing their best to provide good service and quality food. Love this place and I will be back. The beautiful woman with the locs made the experience a 10/10“
