“It would be great if the Guobao Pork could be made more authentic. Referring to the Harbin method, it is recommended to use more white vinegar and less soy sauce to create a unique and spicy taste. The stir-fried green beans and ground three delicacies are stable, and the dishes and taste are good. Especially the eggplant, potatoes, and green peppers in the three delicacies are all charred on the outside and tender on the inside. The dry pot sausage is not on the menu, but it can be made, and the potato chips in it are delicious! This dish is a bit salty, I recommend adding less saltTwice-cooked pork does not have the fishy smell of pork. It is a thicker pork belly. It will be more delicious if it can be sliced thinly and caramelized.Dried tofu with sharp peppers may seem ordinary to those who don’t know Northeastern food, but those who have eaten it locally will find it simple and mellow. It’s a pity that you can’t eat soybean chips made from Northeastern soybeans in a foreign country. It is also a dish with stable taste! You can refill the rice endlessly, each grain is distinct and delicious.Great reviews on lemonade! The water provided by many stores has a peculiar smell, but this one does not. The lemon's refreshing fragrance is just right.I hope the store will explore more on the dishes and create a more authentic Northeastern taste.“

“This location was good for our family to meet and eat. We enjoyed a few appetizers together and then a meal with drinks. The waiter thankfully informed us that the meals are 'family style' which means there was plenty to share. That is exactly what we did and liked everything we picked. The best dishes were the classics. If you like Asian food style, you would enjoy this place.“

“The Red Bowl is as advertised, authentic szechewan Chinese food. They offer a wide array of dishes, including 4 different types of noodles, which delight the customers' taste buds. As needed special diets can be accomodated, so be sure to ask. All the dishes are freshly prepared. This little restaurant is a hidden gem. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.“

“4.2 out of 5. Probably the best Chinese food in the Tampa Bay area. One appetizer came mid meal and the other came towards the very end of our dining and was the worse thing we ordered it was bland and full of gristle. My Mongolian beef was not as spicy as I like and a tad runny. Not sure why the sweet n sour chicken doesn't include rice?“

“Very small unassuming Chinese restaurant with the BEST Kung Pao & General Tso's chicken we have ever had in 50+ years of dining out in 8 states. The chef served our food freshly cooked in about 15 minutes. The only negative was canned soda. The price was very reasonable too. We live 42 miles away, but will make the trip again----it was THAT good.“

“We had a good experience at Lan Zhou Lamen Noodle House. The service was top notch and very attentive. We ordered the fried dumplings to start off and they were really good. Honestly, the best I've had in a while so I highly recommend. I ordered the beef stir fry hand pulled noodles and they were also really good. My boyfriend ordered the beef noodle soup, and it wasn't his favorite unfortunately. He said that it didn't have as much flavor as he was expecting. He did love my dish and kept digging into it so he was happy in the end. We would definitely go back and maybe try some of the other stir fry noodle dishes.“

“Garlic Chicken with sticky rice. For my American palate, the dish was spicy and made my eyes water, which is good. The dish had many veggies that I like: snow peas, baby corn, interesting mushrooms, and the chicken was thoroughly cooked. Understand that this is a local dive but a very clean one. There's 3 little tables for dining-in and plastic cutlery. No frills and no alcohol.“

“We really enjoyed our experience from the food, atmosphere and service. The duck had nice crispy skin and moist meat. The bbq ribs were tender and excellent seasoning to them. My son’s udon noodle bowl with beef was best dish in our group. Crispy dumplings were perfectly cooked and accompanied with a tangy sauce that we all enjoyed. I’ve passed on eating here more than a dozen times due to long line. Don’t make the mistake I made for years. Get in the line, wait, be patient and enjoy a great meal at reasonable price.“

“Just back from trying Chen Ji for the first time. Have to say that expectations were exceeded for all three of us. We all tried Yunnan noodles with different broths so we could sample different flavors, all 3 were delicious. Also had soup dumplings that were served steaming hot as they should be. We all agreed that the experience was excellent, the food flavorful, the service good and that we would all return. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the large portion sizes.“

“Stumbled on this place after going to the Winn Dixie in the same strip mall. It wasn't busy at all so I wondered if I was making a mistake. After looking at the reviews I decided to go for it and glad I did. The take out was great, and they put a nice amount of meat in the dishes,( I've only eaten the chinese here).Since then we've dined in and gotten take out on a couple of occasions. Everything has always been tasty and fresh. Their dishes also taste like they're supposed to. In other words they don't all taste the same like some Chinese restaurants.Believe they are always "slow" because it's a weird location, but definitely worth the drive. Oh yeah, if you like onions get the Mongolian beef.“

“We placed an order for the boneless spare ribs, sweet & sour chicken, house lo mein, additional egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. The entire meal was delectable. The service was exceptionally prompt, with the food arriving in under 10 minutes. The chefs were courteous and friendly, and the dining environment was remarkably clean.“

“Feichang hao!!!This is genuinely an excellent authentic Chinese restaurant that used to be called Asia Fusia a few years back but now, the new renovations of the dining room and openess make it quite comfortable for parties and guests or small gatherings. The host and hostess are friendly and very helpful as the menu is extensive with a lot of choices to choose from. There is traditional Chinese barbeque "kao rou" along with excellent soups that are both meat and veg options but tasty nonetheless.Boiled fish "xue jer yu" is a favorite spicy boiled fish dish that is a Szechuan trademark and done perfectly here. We also ordered the non spicy fish in a broth that is "clean" and tasty. Eggplant with sweet potato, cucumber (served cool) in a spicy sauce is highly recommended and an excellent appetizer. Cumin lamb was outstanding which is a barbeque dish that Western China uses since it is influenced by Nepal and India on the Western borders. I ordered a takeout a few days ago and went back last night with some friends and guests and we will defintely be back!*This is not fake Chinese or American-Chinese that is so common in most places. “We have tried several Chinese places in the Temple Terrace area, but China Star has surpassed them all. They are price competitive, the store is clean and their soups are the best around. We haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but their quality and consistency over the last 9 orders we have placed are spot-on. Definitely a good choice in Temple Terrace.“

“I’ve been going to Perry’s since I was a little girl. On weekends with my family, we used to stop by here together, after perusing through the mall, and would have a nice meal together. The employees were always so friendly and kind each and every time. The quality is always amazing, the portion sizes are huge and generous, and the food is always fresh. I have never been disappointed coming here and despite there being newer locations, this one still has my heart after all this time. Over the past twenty years, the mall has changed a lot and has gone quite downhill. And yet, Perry’s is still the same. I came back here today after not visiting for almost 6 years. As expected, the food was exactly how I remembered. This is such a good spot for Chinese takeout and you really get your bang for your buck (a basic combo is somehow only $10 even in this economy)! Thank you for all the memories and lovely food Perry’s.“

“This is typically an excellent Chinese place where we can go an order off an authentic Chinese menu (if you read Chinese). We have been coming here for years. The food os delicious, but have noticed a drop in quality recently. And they don't serve your food with rice you sort of have to ask for it... which is a little odd.“

“I was looking for a good Chinese food place. Very important wherever I go ?? The guy behind the counter was very nice, friendly. The food was served quickly and reminded me of the China Inn back in WI. The food was good and hit the spot! Don't let the sketchy building throw you off! Lol“

“The food is quite good (I lived in China for 10 years so it's nothing comparable to that) but it is really good for American-style Chinese food. The owner is really friendly and will occasionally add homemade donuts to our order since we tend to place larger orders each time. Overall, good food and great service.“

“This is the only Chinese food I get now. They have the best selection and unique menu items I can't get anywhere else.I was recently diagnosed as allergic to shellfish. This came as a huge shock as it's one of my favorite things to eat. I love coconut shrimp and would get it every time I went to the buffet. I did a google search and saw this place had a coconut chicken. To my surprise and delight, it is the same recipe as the shrimp but uses chicken instead. I think I teared up a little with the first bite. Thank you for making it possible to have one of my favorite dishes again! Also, they have sesame balls and those are also a favorite that has become obsolete since covid.I live over an hour away, but the drive is totally worth it.“

“This place had some bomb dim sum and Chinese food. My cousins and I went on a random weekday and this place was packed. The shumai, rice crepe, hargow, shrimp dumplings, sweet buns, and other traditional dim sum dishes were on point. I would avoid the Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings. The inside of the XLB's didnt have a lot of meat or soup. Prices are fair and service was really quick. The location itself is very clean and you can order traditional dishes during lunch time as well. Noise level is low and they have seating for large parties. I see why they are voted one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.“

“Ordered family meal pack 4/12/24 online. Easy to use. Got detailed confirmation and picked up food at drive-up window in 30 minutes.Received General Tao’s main. Sides Beef Lo-mein, Chicken and garlic sauce, bbq spare ribs. Fried rice, white rice, 3 eggrolls. I found the family pack to be a value. Plenty of food. also ordered peppersteak . Every course was delicious and fresh. Family was pleased. We will return for future orders. will also recommend as it seems alot of folks from up north have trouble finding a steady take-out with flavor. The order selection allows comments, so if you want extra heat just request it.“

“Solid neighborhood take-out spot. Good food, unenthusiastic but pleasant service. Typical basic take-out style place but looks clean and inviting. Some things on the menu I can’t find easily elsewhere - like Cold Noodles w Sesame sauce - and they were pretty good, so extra points.“

“I’m from New York been missing that style Chinese food. The rib tips were really good and the shrimp egg rolls were full of flavor. The chicken wings were fried perfectly. The rice was really good. I’d definitely recommend this place to my fellow NYCers who are looking for a Chinese restaurant that’s like back home. Next time I plan on getting the fried half chicken and some tostones. I’m so excited because it’s been a long time since I found a Chinese restaurant that had rib tips, fried half chicken and tostones on the menu. Definitely check them out.“

“I ordered the pepper steak with noodles, my friend ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and let me tell you IT WAS SO JUICY. The order came with egg rolls and they were piping hot. I could tell all the food was made fresh to order because we heard them cooking it up in the back for a while and It all tasted very fresh and well seasoned. They’re definitely not stingey with the portions which is nice. I would 10000% recommend and come back again.“
“as a native New Yorker, i am always asked my reviews on three things.pizza. chinese food. bagels.and i always compare what i eat here in florida to what I've had in new york because new york will always be better... right?well. China Star is the first chinese food spot where I can confidently say it reminds me of home. i always get the crab rangoons, and i like to switch between shrimp and broccoli and vegetable lo mein. the shocker came when i went back to new york a month ago and had a meal from my favorite chinese spot... and found i liked China Star more! with their crispier crab rangoons and more flavorful fried rice, i was left unsatisfied from the restaurant that was once my favorite spot!!you're officially number 1, China Star!“
