“Holy Guacamole — This Place Is Nacho Average Mexican Spot! To get to the main event: the quesadilla. Oh. My. Guac. This wasn’t just the best quesadilla I’ve ever had — it was quite possibly the pinnacle of human culinary achievement. The tortilla was golden, crisped to perfection with just the right amount of buttery char. And inside? A molten lava flow of cheese so rich and gooey it could’ve been declared a national treasure. Add to that the perfectly seasoned meat (I went with the chicken, but I suspect any option would be un-burrito-ble) and a side of their homemade salsa that added just the right kick — I was completely cheesed off… in the best way possible. I was also thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail — the tortillas tasted freshly made, the toppings were thoughtfully layered, and even the slaw had crunch and flavor that made each bite nacho run-of-the-mill. Service? Absolutely en-taco-ging. Friendly, fast, and full of great recommendations! “We are on vacation and I really wanted Mexican food. We decided to go to Mezcal, since it was right around the corner from where we were staying. I had the enchiladas. My wife had the tacos. She said they were the best tacos she had ever had. She loved the sour cream sauce on top. The tortillas chips were fresh and the salsa was wonderful. Our waiters Marlon and Pablo were very nice. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant.“

“Best Mexican restaurant in FWB imo. Truly authentic! Do not let the outside fool you - the inside is very nice and stylish. Food is amazing and not too salty. Service is great as well. I love their homemade chips - some of the best that I have ever had - light and not greasy. Salsa is just right as well. This restaurant puts all of the others to shame!“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time today and it did not disappoint! The menu is quite large, the ambiance is authentic and the food and margarita's are top shelf. Jonathan was our server and did a great job checking in on us throughout our meal. We will be adding this establishment into our local rotation. If you haven't tried it, you have got to give it a shot. We are Pepito's, Casita's and Chapala frequents and this place is on par or better in some respects.“

“I’ve honestly been thinking about my last visit to La Paz for days! Guacamole and top shelf margarita was delicious! My husband had steak fajitas and loved them. I had the surf and turf (snapper taco and bacon wrapped tamarind shrimp) it was awesome! Both the black beans and the refried beans tasted rich and homemade. “Looking for a great place to eat and dog friendly, this is your place. I got 3 crunchy tacos, refried beans and rice. They were tasty. My wife got 3 soft tacos, refried beans and rice. The chips were warm and the salsa was delicious. Plus we ate on the patio so we brought Captain Jack. Our waiter was top notch. Great place to eat and dog friendly too.
