“Holy Guacamole — This Place Is Nacho Average Mexican Spot! To get to the main event: the quesadilla. Oh. My. Guac. This wasn’t just the best quesadilla I’ve ever had — it was quite possibly the pinnacle of human culinary achievement. The tortilla was golden, crisped to perfection with just the right amount of buttery char. And inside? A molten lava flow of cheese so rich and gooey it could’ve been declared a national treasure. Add to that the perfectly seasoned meat (I went with the chicken, but I suspect any option would be un-burrito-ble) and a side of their homemade salsa that added just the right kick — I was completely cheesed off… in the best way possible. I was also thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail — the tortillas tasted freshly made, the toppings were thoughtfully layered, and even the slaw had crunch and flavor that made each bite nacho run-of-the-mill. Service? Absolutely en-taco-ging. Friendly, fast, and full of great recommendations! If you’re looking for a place that delivers on authenticity, flavor, and an all-around good time, this restaurant really tortilla new one! In short: • Best quesadilla ever? Check. • Amazing tacos? “Wd ate put on the large patio. Service was great, responsive and attentive. It is dog friendly, we kept our elderly dog in the car because we wore him out on a walk. We asked to sit close to the parking so we could keep an eye on him. The waiter brought us out a bowl of water for our dog. It was very appreciative. We got the Brisket Burrito and it was very good. It is a dry burrito so you have yo dip it in a cheese sauce. It was good and the complimentary salsa and chips were very good as well. I left there stuffed and happy!“

We sat at the bar and were lucky enough to be taken care of by Ricky and Sheyla, both of whom were so warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. They made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. I don’t personally drink, and they didn’t make it awkward or treat it like a hassle at all. Instead, they brought out an ice-cold Heineken 0.0, poured it into a chilled mug, and even added a lime wedge without me asking. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel included and taken care of. Ricky and Sheyla also gave us amazing food recommendations. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos with charro beans, and let me just say, I’m still thinking about those beans. They were loaded with tender pieces of brisket that added such depth of flavor. The tacos came topped with a fresh mango pineapple salsa that had actual chunks of pineapple and mango, so juicy, sweet, and perfectly balanced with the fish. The queso was also super fresh and flavorful, and they made sure our chips were always topped off. The attention to detail really made the whole experience feel elevated without being pretentious. On top of all that, they took the time to chat with us and even gave us some awesome local recommendations for things to do after dinner. It’s rare to find staff who are not only great at their jobs but also so down-to-earth and genuinely kind. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you can, Ricky and Sheyla are a dream team! We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town. An all-around fantastic vibe, incredible service, and delicious food!“

“Today was my first visit here to grab some food after a morning at the zoo. I got the Barbacoa Burrito with beans, and Oreo Tres Leches cake. The food is one of the best in the area if you want authenticity. The workers were great and very informative for the white guy who doesn't know much about Mexican food. We tried Pepper's this year and everyone loved it, even our pickiest eaters. The staff was kind and delivery was on time. We will definitely order from them again next year.“

“I’ve honestly been thinking about my last visit to La Paz for days! Guacamole and top shelf margarita was delicious! My husband had steak fajitas and loved them. I had the surf and turf (snapper taco and bacon wrapped tamarind shrimp) it was awesome! Both the black beans and the refried beans tasted rich and homemade. I look forward to trying many things on the menu our next visit.“

“Came here for lunch, on a Thursday afternoon. Sat in a booth on the bar side, which is separate from the dining area. The service was a little slow, but wasn’t in a hurry. If you are on a lunch break from work, maybe if you’re sitting in the dining area, you would be served quickly? The small strawberry 🍓 margarita is big(haha) & refreshing! Guacamole is a bit too chunky, but fresh. The grilled chimichanga was delicious, and so were the tacos. Served with fresh tomatoes,lettuce, sour cream, pico, rice and refried beans.
Came in again, on a Sunday evening, and had the Double Chimichanga (without the pico d’gallo) Sat at a booth, service was good, but 2 for 1 strawberry margaritas($14.99) not as good as the first time we came!“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time today and it did not disappoint! The menu is quite large, the ambiance is authentic and the food and margarita's are top shelf. Jonathan was our server and did a great job checking in on us throughout our meal. We will be adding this establishment into our local rotation. If you haven't tried it, you have got to give it a shot. We are Pepito's, Casita's and Chapala frequents and this place is on par or better in some respects.“

“First of all, walking in, we were treated very well. Attentive, fast service. Our server checked in on us the perfect amount. The food came out fast, hot, and correct.

Everything was delicious. I got the carnitas with green sauce (carnitas con salsa verde) and it was excellent. The environment is lovely, and they had some banging dance tracks from the 80s-90s playing. Idk about live events, but during our visit, the house music was at a good volume and everyone at the table could hear each other without yelling. Highly recommend for a meal with family.“

“This is a beautiful spot to walk and check out while in Destin. We weren't there for more than 5 mins before we had a lady asking if we wanted more information on the area, I thought she was going to just give me a map or something but it turned into a whole sales pitch about how she could get me a free dolphin tour and 250 dollars worth of boardwalk bucks if we sat through a one and a half hour seminar. I thought it was going to be a tour and information about the hotel and but its actually an intense sales pitch about buying a time share. Needless to say we dipped out on that situation.

Other than that it was a beautiful spot to check out, everything is over priced and it is a very touristy area. We all enjoyed the experience and took some great pictures.“
