We’re not from this side of town, but here we are. We were hungry and looked up some places to eat. What better place to try than The Hen and The Hog, right? It did not disappoint.

The atmosphere felt like we were literally at the farm and food was fast, beautifully presented, and delicious!

Had the ribs/chicken combo with beans and rice and fries. It is not often that I dont put sauce on my ribs, I didn't tonight!! Ribs were top notch, wish I had more!! Food was ready super fast and delivered without issue. Thanks Li'l Reds for a great meal!!“

“Atmosphere is 100/10. The spot is very local, Clearly, everyone knows each other, or from the area, which I love. The chef, Ian is incredible, really nice guy and straight to the point. I was torn between giving this place four or five stars because I haven’t had that much jerk chicken to compare it to, but I have had a decent amount of barbecue chicken. The chicken quality was awesome, the sauce was incredible, but the chicken itself was a little too burnt for my flavor. I still ate every last bite because it was delicious, but I can’t say it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. I still think this is a very worthy spot of checking out, just be prepared to wait a while, service is quite slow and can take up to half an hour if there are five people in front of you. I was told by somebody that the ribs are better Then the chicken, but I was not in the mood for ribs this time around“

“In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

“Ive been gatekeeping this place because I didnt want to lose my clean, chill, less loud and screamy kbbq spot but this place is one of my top go to's.

The meat is always quality, the service is always top notch and the ambience is always on point. If youre looking for kbbq where you dont feel like you gotta shout over the chaos and you can really enjoy, this is the spot.

All You Can Eat is a great deal for their meat quality but I love that they still have traditional Korean dishes on the menu for when I dont want to gorge myself.

Also it's always clean!! So clean and the booths are comfortable without drowning you or making you feel crowded in.“

Not only is the food good, ZOE LADY IS A SWEETHEART! SHE IS SWEET AND ACCOMMODATING! Had a situation with my order and she went out her way to make up for it and to make sure i was pleased. “Y'all. I would say about 80% of the times we go to the Food Truck Festival at Pembroke Lakes Mall on Thursdays, it is to get food from Coop's Spot Food Truck! The wings and ribs are sooo good (the sides are really good too). We have yet to find a really worthy BBQ spot in Pembroke Pines, but Coops does it for us in the meantime! I think it's the smoke, and the Sweet & Spicy sauce. ;)I will say, it used to take FOREVER to get your food from them though (one time I waited over 45min!). But it appears they are organizing themselves much better now, and they started giving us a time estimate (now it's usually 15min). And it's worth it. :)“
