“Pretty good. The service was engaging despite the lunch rush and the food was outstanding. I ordered yuca, maduro, oxtail and rice and peas. I can’t recommend the oxtail. It was primarily fat and a little tough but everything else was extraordinary and I’d definitely return for some of the other menu items and of course the sauces! ?“

“Absolutely amazing! I’m vegan but as a person from the Caribbean you always looking for that down home cooking and flavor. This definitely hit the spot! My only regret is I didn’t take any pictures before eating. Had the tofu curry and bought two other meals to go! Highly recommend!

“Fatboy’s never disappoints! Even with the power getting cut off throughout our visit, they still delivered not only in service but the food was absolutely delicious! I got jerk chicken pasta and the jerk chicken egg rolls and it was amazing. They have been the most consistent restaurant I’ve visited even after opening up a new location. They will always get my service!“

“Mi Yard is hands-down Miami’s best spot for authentic casual Jamaican food. My family went before seeing Taylor Swift at Hard Rock stadium. What a gem so close to the stadium! The jerk chicken is spicy, smoky perfection, and the oxtail stew was delicious . The vibe is relaxed, and the staff is real and genuinely really sweet. They came out from behind the register and played Jenga with my daughters. Fair warning: you’ll leave fuller, happier, and probably craving more. Definitely worth a visit!“

“TRUE TO THE KITCHEN!!! I stumbled upon this gem by accident and I am SOOO HAPPY I DID!!! If you're looking for wholesome, well-flavored, taste-bud raving food, TROPICAL TASTEBUDS is the place. In an industry where most Caribbean food is starting to taste the same, this place stands out 1000 times over while still keeping that homestyle traditional flavoring. I ordered 3 different dishes: stewed oxtail, blackened salmon Alfredo pasta, and jerk chicken. Needless to say, every dish was chef's kiss and the portions were plentiful. This truly is the kind of food your soul, tummy, and pockets will appreciate!“

“Very nice lil restaurant, the staff is very sweet and the food is amazing. I got the brown stew chicken lunch special and paid $9 cash for all this (before tip of) I wish i tipped more! As far as food goes, the rice & peas were fresh & tasty and the stew is rlly seasoned & tender. The service was fast, there is plenty of parking & i will definitely come back when i'm in the area!

“I thoroughly enjoy my visits to this restaurant. It consistently offers a clean and inviting atmosphere, with the added perk of shorter waiting times compared to other places. The pricing and portion sizes are reasonable, striking a great balance. However, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. From the warm smiles when you walk in to the genuine gratitude expressed when you leave, the staff goes above and beyond. I highly recommend paying them a visit, and don't forget, they're an excellent choice for catering needs as well!“

“Just left Maam’s soooo satisfied. Don’t let the dated exterior/interior fool you. The food was amazing. Customer service was excellent. The food area was immaculate. I’d been craving oxtail after so many posts on TikTok and found Maam’s on google. The gentleman that took our order and served us was so nice and welcoming. He was patient with questions and let us taste 3 types of the chicken as we’ve never been there and caught on that my son had a sensitive stomach. The oxtail and the gravy was so tender and delicious as well as the jerk chicken was bursting with wonderful flavors. I got the Jamaican rice w peas and he poured the oxtail gravy all over it. I can eat that all by itself, that rice is very special. Huge portions also, I could not finish the plate. The cabbage salad that they serve w the plate was super fresh and crisp with the light sweet/sour flavor of whatever they use for dressing. Kinda rice wine vinegar vibes. I’m so happy we went and I’m sure I’ll be back before the week ends. Loved everything we tried ?“

“It felt like going into a Roti shop in Trinidad. Real real real curry, stewed just right, and a little grocery store to buy your Caribbean seasoning. If you have ever lived or been in any of the Caribbean islands, this little shack will take you right back!“

“Their veggie patties are the best around and their fish meal on Fridays are the best. I don't eat meat so I can't tell you want the other meals taste like but it looks like they do very well with the customers, so they must be doing something right?“

“Cliffs Restaurant in Hollywood Florida is a hidden gem that offers a delightful experience from the mouthwatering dishes to the attentive services. My vision- impaired mother and my uncle dined there recently, for their Thursday night fish special, and I was impressed by how attentive they were to them. While the aesthetic of the building could use some improvement, the music and general atmosphere was notably nostalgic. I could tell my mother enjoyed herself.“

“Visited Miami area 3 weeks ago, late night had a taste for authentic Jamaican cuisine. Don't judge a book by its cover. This is by far the best Jerk Chicken, Oxtails with gravy over Rice & Peas, cabbage ever! Food was so fresh, flavorful and excellent service, great outdoor atmosphere. I will visit here again.“

“The food is usually very good. I have eaten here several times. However, they need to work on the service. Oh boy. I still go because I know I will get a good and authentic Jamaican meal, and I try to support my people. Order before you go to reduce wait time.“

“This was my second visit to The Dutch Pot Restaurant in Miami Gardens Fort Lauderdale, and it won’t be my last! The true gem of this place is the staff. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the genuine, friendly interaction between the staff and customers – no impatience or condescension, just warm and welcoming service. It’s rare to find such a personable atmosphere! The food was, as always, incredible. I had the curried goat, which was perfectly spiced and tender, and the oxtail was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were spot-on! To top it off, we were given a tour of the newly opened, exclusive upstairs dining area (pictures to come!), which looks fantastic. Kudos to the owners for continuously elevating the dining experience here. Overall, this is a fantastic business that deserves to be replicated – amazing food, a welcoming team, and a beautifully designed space. Highly recommend The Dutch Pot to anyone looking for a great meal and even better service!“

“The young gentleman at my hotel front desk recommended this place, as I was looking for Jamaican food near by. I was pleasantly surprised at food this good coming from a mall food court. I took my order to go, as the mall dining area itself isn't so great. I ordered the oxtails, peas & rice, cabbage and plantains. My only complaint is I feel like I mostly paid for bones and fat, as the oxtail meat was not very plentiful for the cost; however, the flavor of everything and other portion sizes were very giving. I would definitely give it another try but would probably try the goat curry or jerk chicken instead. Customer service was ok. ♥️“

“Jamaica house is by far one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the area especially to be open 24/7 in south Florida. I’m from NY so I know. The owner and the workers are hard working and the food is always fresh. I love the gungo peas and rice. The oxtail is delish, j*** pork always on point and the fresh juices are always A1 with me. I come all the way from west of I75 to buy food from here. Jamaica House much love. Much respect.“
