“The best Chinese food I have ever eaten!!!! My entire family and guests were so impressed that this place is our go to … when we want to stay home for an evening meal for a take out. Never fails! Taste is beyond! I know it’s a take out but somehow it taste really healthy because they give you the personal touch on cooking to your need like doing our fried rice without soy sauce for example. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Def 5 stars for taste and service. Our go to order is usually Vegetarian or Special Fried rice, Roast Pork, SS Fish, or SS Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken spicy, Spicy Curry Chicken, Shrimp in Garlic to name a few of our favorites.Dietary restrictions: Low salt“
“This is not a dine in restaurants. This is curb side pick up, but the food is very very good ? the sushi has fish instead of the cheep stuff that you get at buffet that only have cream cheese inside. Everything is fresh and if it's not you can tell them and they will make a new one for you! Unfortunately the staff isn't to friendly, but it's take out, so you don't interact with them for to long.“
“was with some friends and decided to stop in for lunch and our server Katie was phenomenal! she was very attentive and kept our drinks full the whole time! by far some of the best service i’ve gotten at this restaurant. The food was good and well worth the money! Will be coming back“
“I ordered the food for take out recently. I was told that they changed the ownership. The service was good, they changed couple of the recipes, they were very nice to mention if we don't like the food or the new recipe we can always let them know or make comments for their improvements. Overall they're trying to make the restaurant better in every way. I will coming back again.“
“Finally, we've found a good Chinese restaurant in Pembroke Pines. It's only taken us 25 years! We stopped by for lunch yesterday, my husband had sushi 2 roll lunch special and I had the cashew chicken lunch special. Food was great, restaurant clean, price was fair and service friendly! We'll be back!“
“I should’ve taken A photo but I was too hungry. The food was sooo good. I ordered the chicken wings(all flats) and some French fries and a shrimp egg roll. My fiancé got the chicken wings as well( all flats) and pork fried rice with a pork egg roll. Everything was nice and hot. The chicken wings were perfect and the shrimp egg reminded me of the Chinese restaurants in New York ( IYKYK) lol. I will def be ordering from here again.“
“Best dim sum place in the area by far. If you want to experience real Chinese food, this is the place to go. Come in the morning for Dim Sum but beware it's packed on the weekends so expect a wait. The dinner is great too. Prices are fair and good value for what you get. You'll know this place is legit because lots of Asians dine here. Been a regular here for years and expect to continue as long as they're in business.P.S. If the pineapple buns are sold out, try the golden lava bun. They're just as good, if not better.“
“We love this place! Took my 10 year old on a “date night” for dinner and he gave it a 20/10. I totally agree. The food was so much better than other similar places locally. The flavors were on point, the steak was nice and soft, the veggies were perfect, and the sushi was delicious. The hibachi show was soooo fun and interactive. Most importantly, the service was excellent. Good service with friendly and professional staff is so important to me and they checked all the boxes. I can’t complain at all. Love this place and we’ll definitely be back.“
“Great place for Peruvian food and latin music! The Anticuchos were delicious, The dish comes with 2 meat sticks and Rachi (belly meat) but since I don't like Rachi, I was given the options for 4 sticks of Anticuchos. I was a very happy girl ?.Service was good despite of how busy they were. And the ambiance was great! Fridays they have Karaoke night and it turnes out like a live band party. So much fun! Will definetly go back to eat & party.“
“I've been going to this location for many, many years. The last several times we've gone for pick up, it has been kinda disastrous one way or another. From extremely long wait times past promised time in the app to sad looking meals that tasted like the gas grill, I was a bit hesitant to order tonight but my daughter really wanted quick curry. So we gave it another go and were pleasantly surprised to see a return to Pei Wei of old (of sorts). We got the Thai coconut curry chicken with a side of extra sauce which really helps, but kinda stinks you have to pay extra for, and it was tasty. The pad Thai with crispy tofu and veggies was a nice change from chicken and I can imagine the tofu being quite good fresh (not take out). Last we got the newly returned hot and sour soup, it was ok but not great and not how I remember it being before. Unfortunately for them though it seems as though business is on the decline as there was literally not one person in the restaurant on a Friday night. Hope to see this location make a turn around.“
“First time eating their food and it was amazing!! Probably the best Chinese food I've found since moving here 3 years ago. The service was also amazing, the front lady was so sweet and kind!! This is a must try if you're craving some great Chinese food!“
“We order from Asahi about once a week. Food is always great. We’ll order both Chinese & Japanese and have never been disappointed. If they tell you that the delivery will be 45 minutes to an hour it’s alway a lot sooner.I think this is the best Chinese Japanese restaurant aroundParking: Always plenty of parking spots available“
“That sign in your picture is unlighted. At night, I can’t find it from the parking lot. And google walking directions took me in the opposite direction from where I parked.THE FOOD WAS GOOD.But the place is dowdy. There is an Indian restaurant two doors down. I didn’t go in, but I could see the polished glass, the gleaming silverware. And I’m headed the other way.Vegetarian options: I had the option of ordering Chinese vegetables with tofu. But I didn’t question them about what sauces they used.“
“Been going to them since some of they family was young. Management lays down the law. The food is good. The menu items are good. I would recommend. Good folks. Quick and gets the job done. I would recommend. Best Chifa in the area. Just biz.“
“Discover a hidden gem in Miramar/Hollywood – a Chinese restaurant that surpasses expectations in flavor and commitment to quality. Immerse yourself in an authentic dining experience with large round tables that can seat an entire family. While the food quality is outstanding, it’s essential to note a slightly smaller protein portion, especially considering the restaurant’s pricing above competitors. However, the ample volume of well seasoned fried rice compensates, and my curiosity is piqued for a deeper exploration of their regular dinner options.Take note that menu pricing in the pictures is outdated. The real star here are the unforgettable egg rolls which are crisp and full of flavor. If you’re seeking a top-tier, value-packed meal, this spot is a must-visit. Keep in mind that it might not cater to those looking for a quick, budget-friendly bite.In summary, this Miramar/Hollywood Chinese restaurant offers an unparalleled experience, and despite a few considerations, it deserves recognition for its overall quality and value.“
“Just had a third delivery from Great Wall II and had mixed results.Speed of delivery great, the order was accurate and the food was nice and hot. While most of the food was great as usual, the premium item (Bourbon Chicken) was skimpy in quantity and way over-cooked. It was so over-cooked that the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, ever! That said, the egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken lo mein, and house fried rice were fantastic.Happy to report that my second order from Great Wall II was just as wonderful as my first. The consistency is there, the taste is great, and the portion sizes are what you want them to be. The restaurant is kept very clean, which includes the kitchen area that is visible from the front counter. Choosing between Panda Express' mediocre Super Bowl family meal, on sale for $10 off and Great Wall II, I'm glad I choose GWII.Hard to find Chinese food that's not greasy or heavily salted but Great Wall II passed the test. Ordered their Family Dinner for 4 with egg rolls, wonton soup, sweet & sour chicken, pork lo mein, chicken fried rice, and a side of crab rangoon. Aside from somewhat bland flavored lo mein, and wonton soup wontons that tasted somewhat off, everything was super delish, freshly cooked, and abundant served. Fortune cookies, Chinese noodles, and condiments were all packaged in the take out bag, which was so well packed that not a drop was spilled or grease mark left on the paper bag. I will definitely try this restaurant again. BTW, I witnessed COVID protocols and cleanliness being stringently adhered to while I was waiting for my food.“
“This is the best Chinese food in west Pines. usually ready within 20 minutes and never disappoints. I saw a review where the person was complaining about the "customer service"... It's a take out place. They take your order, give you your food and move on to the next person. I could care less if they said "Enjoy your food fatboy, see you soon" because if you live in West Pines, you know that it's hard to get good take out food anywhere and especially good Chinese take out. Personally, the service is always great with me so I love the place.“
“My hubby and I ordered for Christmas day and YUMMY! The food was hot, fresh and VERY tasty! We ordered a bit of this and a bit of that, everything was so good! Definitely our new go-to for Chinese Takeout! Thank you for a great Christmas meal! ? ?“
“Ordered Delivery of Bourbon Chicken 1/2 Tray for me and my coworkers at Ashley Sawgrass in Sunrise. Food was good but they were very skimpy on the rice. Just one cardboard container even though I asked for extra rice. Other than that it was what was expected.“
“I recently tried Lucky Star Chinese Takeaway and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. I ordered fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and crab Rangoon. Each dish was flavorful, and the ingredients tasted exceptionally fresh. The crab Rangoon, in particular, was a delightful mix of crispiness and savory filling. The place was bustling with customers, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient, and my order was prepared quickly. It’s rare to find a takeaway spot that combines great taste with freshness, and Lucky Star does just that.I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit to try more of their menu!“
“when i tell you i fell in love with the crab ragoon at this place it was sosososososo good its the second time ive gone there and the lady who takes your order is super nice about everything!Dietary restrictions: they have a whole diet menu“
“Today after the Gym I was hungry and walking to my car passed Wongs, and decided to buy Egg Roll, it was cheap enough and wasn't expecting what they gave me, it was meal by itself and so delicious and crunchy.I guess now when I go to the Gym, I have to stop by get another one, really loved it.There goes my diet, but worth it.“
“Posting an updated review, because after nearly a year, King Chef has become my go-to local place for American-style Chinese takeout. Every single time I order, the food is prepared consistently well, portions are huge, and the price is outstanding. One of their dinner combos literally has enough food to feed me for like 3-4 meals, and only costs around $12. That's insane!! My only critique of the food is that things here are not spicy, even if they're indicated as such. Depending on your tastes though, that may be a positive! Point on spice aside, the flavor is on point and I always enjoy my food from this restaurant. If you're unsure of what to order given the big menu, here's a few dishes that are always standouts: - Honey Garlic Wings - Fried Rice (pork or shrimp especially) - Sesame Chicken - General Tso's Chicken - Wonton Soup - Hot & Sour Soup - Szechuan Pork or Chicken - Roast Pork with Chinese Vegetables I am honestly baffled by the recent negative reviews, and I seriously hope you don't let them discourage you from giving this place a try. They're a great family-run place, and over the last year, I've only seen improvements in the flavors of the food. If you want a tasty meal at a great price, this is your place!“
“The new spicy soup on the menu is terrible, don't get it. The dumpling soup is better but they only give 3 dumplings. My only complaint other than the soup is they are really skimpy on portions. If the portions were man size, I would give 5 stars. And too much RICE! I don't eat it.“
