“It’s raining today, so I decided why not have a beautiful breakfast at Mima’s Cuban Cafe.I’ve lived in South Florida for six years and always passed this little place, but today I thought, 'Why not?' I am so glad I did! When I went in, the place looked cute, and the staff was friendly. I had the breakfast perico—it was so good that you could see from the pictures, I ate it all, lol. I really recommend this place for mothers like me, families, and coming with friends. They also have an amazing lunch options. For sure, I will come back here with my family. I highly recommend this place for everyone.“

“Beef and chicken empanadas were fried and were very tasty. The media noche sandwich was good but had very little meat - just one thin slice of pork and ham each. Cafe con Leche was hot but I would have liked less milk and sugar as it tasted weak and very sweet. Overall the pleasant little Cafe atmosphere with nice staff made the visit enjoyable“

“Honestly BEST TACOS HANDS DOWN!! The Birria tacos didn’t last 10 minutes in my house!!!! It was honestly TOO GOOD. If you haven’t already… GET YOU SOME. The chicken tacos are great too. “Amazing coffee! This took back home ! Latin coffee taste! Very humble but with an authentic taste to our Latin roots! Had the ham and cheese and the media noche! Portion was not big which is nice cause you eat the right portion! Coffee super hot which I love! The natural orange juice was amazing! “Got the “Famous Cubano” and was excited to try this one in the side of a gas station. Since my last experience in FL at an expensive restaurant yielded the worst Cubano I’ve ever had, I figured this would be a good place to try next.
From the pictures it looked awesome and from the experience, it’s was equal! The bread was on point, buttered, crispy and chewy, the roast pork was juicy and tender. The ham was also good and there was a perfect amount of pickles and mustard with melty Swiss! All of the textures and flavors were balanced which was exactly what you want in a good Cubano! And you could taste the individual components as well! Fantastic sandwich!!“

“This place is amazing . The tacos are awesome . Fajitas are my favorite personally. Ericka is amazing as well, I work from home and she was generous enough to deliver the order to my house multiple times. Highly recommend to try the food. You will not regret it!!

“Old world charmer ,interior reminds me of Spain. Food was okay . As a former N.J resident I am spoiled by all the Portuguese restaurants we have. I was trying to find similar in S. FL. As almost all have disappeared. This is a Spanish restaurants while the food is good its portions are quite small compared to NJ. I love Portuguese cooking and portions are larger . This is also what I found in Spain. I miss mariscada in green sauce ,lobster in my paella and a ton of sea food & flavored yellow rice. So I would have to fly back to south river nj to get that super delicious food. We had one in palm beach that closed. Sad“
