The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“We were there to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday dinner, we were a party of seven we were seated right on time everyone from the hostess to the bartender, to our servers and bus staff took amazing care of us we shared fresh oysters and fried calamari to start, we all had dry age steaks, asparagus Caesar salads and the beet and Humboldt fog arugula salad. I've been coming here for 8 years and have never been disappointed. Some of our friends last night have never been and they will definitely be back.“

“Wow! I decided to stop at KD's food truck on a whim and I am so glad that I did. The wings were....*chef's kiss. I got spicy Asian and my partner got dry rub. I hardly ever clean my plate but after ordering a 6 piece spicy Asian wings combo with the fries I legit contemplated chewing the bones, that's how good they were. Well seasoned crispy skin with a juicy center. Ordering only 6 was a mistake, I can see that this will be a once a week guilty pleasure for me. If you haven't stopped by KD's kitchen yet, do yourself a favor and get you some wings.“

There is a bit of a language barrier as the owners speak mostly Spanish and understand some basic English. And with three quarters of college Spanish under my belt, I am barely able to utter, "Como esta Usted?". But, the menu has lots of pictures so pointing works. The best part is the food. Second best part: the prices. $2.50 tacos made fresh. By far the best quesadilla I've ever enjoyed. As a friend says, "They're legit" Great burittos! Huaraches. They have outdoor covered seating or you can get your Mexican to go.“
