“We were so excited to have a First Watch five minutes from us. We eat at many different locations and having one so close was great, so we thought. The food is always good no matter which First Watch we go to. As a company, I would say you have the most consistently prepared food across the company as any restaurant gets. With that kind of good training in the kitchen it is service that does the most to distinguish each location. The service at this location is sub standard. I'm sure not everyone is bad but out of the four or five times we have been there we had poor service all but once. I have noticed the place is near empty our last couple of trips and increasingly dirty looking. I've never seen a manager which is a big red flag, especially when service is so poor. At other locations a manager can usually be seen helping out front or greeting guests. Today we ate at the First Watch on Mitchell Hammock, where we used to go before this one was built and the service was much better. We have decided that even though it is several miles further away it is worth the trip. We wont be back to this one for a long time or ever.“

“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“It was my first time at Hangry Bison (Winter Garden). A friend and I went there to catch up on the lastest happenings after not talking for 3 weeks. I had the Doddzilla with Mac&Cheese as my side. It was all phenomenal food! Be prepared to have messy hands when you order a burger, they are big and juicy and are packed with so much flavor! And, the service is spot on, Madison was on top of all our needs, always had fresh drinks, even the guy who brought our food out as soon as it was ready was amazing, Charlie, after presenting our plates to us, asked if there were any condiments we would like and after he returned with the black pepper I request, instead of asuming he was done he asked us again if there was anything else he could do or get for us, AMAZING customer service! Charlie's job might seem menial as a busboy but, his customer servive was the absolute highlight of our visit! It is so rare these days to see someone care and take onwership in their job, it is quite refreshing! Thanks Charlie, you are impacting the world around you by just being yourself! Hubby and I split the brunch burger and estate burger and both were delicious, although I liked the brunch one better. The star burger was a bit saltier than I like but still delicious. My daughter got the mushroom Swiss and she enjoyed it!“

“The best hamburgers around .. good fish sandwiches an ice cream but the shakes are too creamy for me , but everything else is delicious someone does not know the difference between a hot fudge sundae and a chocolate sundae, we reordered it three times and they still brought us two hot fudge Sundays every time. “Really great wine bar in Winter Park. Great selection of wines! We loved the cheese and meat boards and the flatbreads. We sat outside which was lovely. Our server, Julie went above and beyond to make our afternoon special - massive thank you to her.

Small downsides - very popular so difficult to get a table - wouldn’t recommend for a massive party. We also thought it was a bit cheeky that they charge $4 just to get the wine card.“

“I’ve been coming here for years and always so pleased with my dishes. My all time favorite is the Nutella Waffle and the Fried Green Tomatoes are to die for. The environment can be a hit or miss since it’s right on the side of park ave, a busy street with many cars and people walking through the tables to get to the shops, that’s if you’re sitting outside anyway. If you’re sitting inside, good luck trying to hear anyone as the inside of the establishment is very small and cramped..nonetheless, I do recommend checking this place out for their food, it’s always so good!

Parking: It’s Park Ave.. the worst place in the area to find parking, especially on the weekends.“

The kids meal was properly portioned. If you’re a man that eats a lot my husband recommends 2 burgers. Other than that, great meal and service. “A huge Thank You to Chef Mike at Aurora at The Celeste for an amazing dinner experience tonight. It is my mom's 83rd birthday and I wanted her to have a good time with some of her friends, so we made reservations for Aurora. We were seated promptly by AJ and he made sure to wish my mom a happy birthday. The chef was kind enough to come out and explain various dishes on the menu, share pictures and wish my mom a happy birthday. The passion he has for his food was evident. It was a wonderful surprise when they brought us each a glass of champagne to toast the evening! I personally started with the oxtail empanadas. The meat was tender, everything was spiced perfectly and the empanadas were very good. Other appetizers included the hummus which got reviewed as a perfect amount of spice and the duck aricini. They were all a wonderful start to our meal. As entrees came out, they were oohs and Aaas across the table. The barramundi fish on top of risotto got several delicious exclamations and "the best fish I have ever eaten". She loved the curry sauce on the side and would take a bite of fish with the curry and a little bit of rice at a time. My mom had the medallions and said her meal was delicious. My mom is not easy to please and she smiled quite a bit tonight. I had the "fried chicken" and it was moist, flavorful and was presented beautifully. The brussel sprouts on the side were to die for. The black garlic pappardelle with shrimp got very good reviews. The shrimp were huge and plentiful. The pasta is all handmade in-house and you can tell. Dessert was enjoyed by all. I was definitely a fan of the cheese plate and everyone else loved their chocolate mousse and rice pudding. Service was paced nicely, the special touches of the champagne, the birthday card, the ice bucket for the wine, etc contributed to the overall experience. Everyone has leftovers. This was truly a wonderful magical dining experience. Chef, thank you for sharing your passion with all of us. Thank you for having such an amazing staff. You made my mom's birthday fantastic and you made an impression on all of her friends. I personally cannot wait to dine again and again.“

“We had been seeing the $9,99 burger meal special advertised on TV and feeling in the mood, hubby and I decided to use an old Applebee's gift card. The server was friendly and willing to change the cheese to cheddar and bring barbecue sauce. It was more of a smashburger, but that was OK. The cheeseburger was messy and filling, especially with the generous portion of fries. Though the server forgot the hot sauce for hubby, the barbecue sauce satisfied him and added flavor to his fries.“
