They were very accommodating in every way, and the food was fabulous. After 40 years of marriage to a Persian (who is an amazing cook, along with his sisters), I’ve tasted a LOT of Persian food, and Dyar is authentic and delicious. Thank you, Alex, for a lovely day. Your timing, presentation, and portions were perfect and everything was elegant. And thank your friend, Peyman (our nephew, another chef) for helping to make the day perfect for our family to remember our brother, father, uncle, and friend, whom we love and miss.”

Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. “Hands down, the best sushi I've ever had. They incorporate truffle oil in some of their rolls and if you like truffle, you cannot go wrong. Very savory. I'd recommend the avocado balls, crunchy spicy tuna roll and the snow crab in miso soup. The truffle aioli salmon appetizer is another hit. The cocktails - Wow! Thai Me Up is a their version of a spicy margarita but they use some sort of oil and it is delicious! I'll be craving that drink for a long time. It's not cheap but if you're looking for a treat or have a special occasion, it's a full recommend from me! Thank you goes out to Kelly, our server, who steered us towards the fantastic dish selections.”

I see a bad review or two in the reviews.... not sure if they caught them on a bad night or something but, for us.... this was great. Added to our list we would consider becoming regulars.”

Deviled eggs were good. Caesar and spinach salads very fresh. Two of us had the pork chop, which was excellent. Meatloaf was sliced and grilled by request. Signature old fashioned cocktail made not too sweet by request. Complementary desserts for both birthday boys provided. ”

“We’ve waited a long time to go to Andy’s because the lines are always really long. Finally got into the drive-thru tonight when the line was a little shorter. Unfortunately I was given the wrong order which I didn’t know until I got home, and wasn’t going back. My concrete was really good - just not what I ordered. The one I got was full of nuts which would be really dangerous for someone with allergies (I don’t have any, but son does). Lesson is to check your order before you leave. Again, really good and we’ll be back.”

“Came in after New Years Day to have a little luck. Julie recommended the ham steak, collards, beans and cornbread. Everything came out quickly and fresh. I use to come weekly with people from a local church, and their chicken tenders and fries were all I wanted to eat while I was pregnant. I’m happy to have a place like MWMH in Cumming, because I feel like I’m with family when I’m there.”

“Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. Leigha makes a great Old Fashioned, but it's more than just the drinks. Leigha has a way of making the bar feel comfortable and familiar, like catching up with a neighbor rather than just ordering another round. The conversation is always easy, never forced, and it's one of the main reasons my friends and I choose Salt when we're deciding where to go downtown. We usually check to see if she's working before making plans. That says a lot. Downtown Woodstock has plenty of good spots, but Leigha is a big reason Salt continues to stand out for us.”

The Achari Wings had a great desi spiced flavor, and the Angry Thai Wings were perfectly balanced with heat and sweetness. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and complemented the wings really well. If you’re ordering a hummus bowl, be mindful that they give a very generous portion of hummus. There is plenty of seating, but most tables accommodate up to four people, so it may not be a good dine-in option for a large group. Atmosphere is pretty casual!”

My kids and I love their idlis, dosa, and vadas, their taste is so homey as if your grandma or mom is doing them back home. You should give them a try, as well as the Puri and Chana masala. Superb!”
