“Every time I am anywhere near bb.q I make the time to go there, it is one of my favorite indulgences. Everything is so good, just amazing really and the staff is always so kind. Some of the little things about the experience make it even better too, like the handwashing station as you come in and leave and the little garbage can on the table to dispose of bones and napkins. “My mom and I stopped by for dinner and had an awesome meal. From the warm tea before the meal, 10 different side dishes, seaweed soup with our main dish, to sikhye (Korean rice drink) at the end of our meal, it was a worthwhile experience for the price! The side dishes and the seaweed soup were really delicious, whereas the spicy pork was decent. My mom got the fish and she really enjoyed that. The service was very friendly, and we ended up purchasing two of the side dishes at the end of our meal to take home. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a homey Korean style meal :-)“

From Korean food to wings to burgers there is so much here. I was greated when I walked in by Dean, I think. Super helpful and friendly guy. I decided to get the beef bulgogi bowl. I really love bulgogi and this hit the spot. It was a bowl with three layers - rice, noodles and the beef. It was great. Nice and clean little joint. While I was there a few folks came in and he greated them all like friends. I was like - dang, this dude is cool. I would recommend trying this place out. If I'm way over here again I will 100% drop in.“

“Prompted to write a review immediately when I noticed the negative reviews people left regarding service, which should be considered outdated.

Friends and I came here on a Saturday while driving around John's Creek, craving authentic Korean food. We were surprised that it was almost empty at almost 6PM but were glad there'd be no wait. The menu wasn't very expansive, which is actually a good thing, imo, as it indicates they focus solely on dishes they know they are good at. I would have loved to try the jokbal, but my friends weren't feeling very adventurous, so we settled on the garlic bossam to share. We added on the rice balls (which is a mix of rice, seaweed, sesame oil and chopped radish) and ordered the donkatsu for my picky toddler niece.

The donkatsu was very crunchy and satisfied the toddler, to our surprise. The portion was enough for 2 adults to share, as it came with 2 pieces of pork (which we had to lie and say they were chicken). We did wish there was more sauce on the side, to balance out the dish. As for the bossam, flavor was great on the pork. We loved the banchan, which helped cut down on the fat from the pork. I'm not sure if the server forgot our lettuce leaves or if they don't automatically give them to you, but definitely ask for lettuce leaves! Definitely gotta wrap your meat! 😉

Also found it surprising that rice does not come with bossam and you have to order it as an add-on. That's pretty much the star deduction here. We spent under $80 (before tip) and it was enough food for 3 adults, 1 picky toddler and still took some tonkatsu home. As much as we love our garlic, it must be noted that 5 hours later, we were still breathing garlic, if that's something that matters to you.“

“I love the food here but the service is chaotic and it's disorganized. Has not stopped me from going there but it's frustrating to watch them scramble to try and figure out who ordered what. And then to see your food ready but the chaotic process means you'll get it in 10 minutes. But the food is great. Fix the chaotic process and I'd probably visit more.“

“It's not cheap for a food court, but the portions are so large that one adult man can't eat the whole bowl!
The sweet and sour pork is full of meat and doesn't feel heavy, so I keep eating it. The Jjajangmyeon noodles were the most satisfying I've had since coming to the US, but the disappointing thing is that the seasoning was a little too salty for my taste.
Still, it was a very satisfying meal. I recommend it👍

“This establishment has the nicest team plus delicious food and parking around back. On my first visit, we arrived early when there was no crowd. My friend had just received her PhD so it was a low key celebration brunch. The crowd wasn't happening yet and the barista was bored. As we ate brunch, he appeared with shot glass sized samples of a certain tea drink for us to try. Then he returned later with a sample of creamy drink. Finally a coffee sample was served. We had a lovely chat and it was just such an authentic "small town" moment. The kind we use to have in Roswell 20+ years ago. Fast forward to this afternoon, my friend and I drop in for a birthday lunch and have a terrific meal. Surprise! The staff prepared a cute blueberry scone birthday snack on a heart-shaped dish. As we left, everyone wished a happy birthday to us. Honestly, it was so endearing. Great food. Nice people. 100% worth your time and money to go!“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

“I had Chef Chang catering for my wedding of 300+ guests. It was crazy, I know... but Chef Chang went above and beyond for us. Be nice to him and he will throw in extras for you! :) we had a Korean/American fusion buffet and he provided a seafood section (mussels and shrimp), a dessert section (we didn't bother getting a wedding cake), and a huge variety of food! He also brought his own plates, single-use utensils, and servers at the buffet table... and busboys, so everything was set up and cleaned up afterwards, thank goodness for that!! It was more than I could have asked for and at a spectacular price... the next best price I saw was double his. Amazing food, great price, awesome service!!!“
