“10/20/2025. After my visit to the eye doctor we treated ourselves to the South Kitchen. Our waitress was very pleasant and poised. We had a hamburger (cooked perfectly - 5 Stars) and a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich which was delicious - 5 Stars). Beautiful building. Hope you enjoy my pictures. Very relaxing place to go. “We miss the deal but we were okay with that. We try the food and it was good. The chicken was cripsy. The waiter was nice and ask us if this was our first time which it was. She explain everything to us and how we miss the deal but thats was ok. My issue is it was hard finding parking to eat here. So beware of finding a place to park. However, the food is great and will come again.“

“One of my new favorite spots in Athens! The place is HUGE (indoor and outdoor) and the beer was good with a lot of variety. There is a ton going on here: Cornhole, Darts, multiple TVs, board games, and a stage for live music! Parking is super easy. The patio is dog friendly. There weren’t any food options on the menu (just snacks), but there was a pop-up stand on the day we were there serving tacos. No complaints about this place!“

Arrived on a Hawaiian Luau Saturday with live music, food, and $16 coupon stacks ($16=6 half pour samplers 😉 and a takeaway glass). Small town brewery feel in the middle of “Dawg” country. What else is there to say?!?“

“It was okay. Not the best coffee but certainly not the worst. Parking is atrocious. Why build something here if you've got no parking. I had to walk two blocks to try this place. Also, seating arrangements is a little weird. It doesn't feel cozy. It feels cramped“

I work a 4 week on / 4 week off schedule so I’m only home half the year; and we go here 2-4 times every time I’m home.. food is always fresh and amazing… Management is in a class of their own and shows with their employees and amazing customer service!! “Came in for a little brekkie while on spring break with my kiddo. Absolute gem. We were greeted by the warmest, most genuine “good morning!!!” From what I am assuming to be one of the managers. Set the tone immediately. Aesthetically it was adorable, food was delicious and tasted real… not like the chain restaurants. Menu had little quips and fun food facts which really invites you in. Devon our server was fabulous, easy going, not rushing around. Definite must try in Athens!“

“Tried to order the steak and ribs combo. Was told they were out of ribs. Got the steak and shrimp instead. My two sides were mashed potatoes and fries. Got 4 shrimp the size of quarters. And the sides also seemed very underportioned. Most restaurants I go to, I struggle to finish my plate. Here, I'm left still hungry. I feel they need to re-access their portion sizes and how four little shrimp can equate to a slab of ribs. While the quality is good, the quantity is questionable. I'll pay the extra price to leave full from Chophouse next door.“

“The assistant manager working there was absolutely amazing !! She was so helpful with our group in giving recommendations on what to do in the area. They have a cute little outdoor area with mini golf and seating. The food wasn’t bad I got just the steak quesadilla nothing special about it. Everyone else really enjoyed their food! We went around 3 so no one else was there so the food was super quick.“
