“It has been several years since I have been to Porterhouse, and what an incredible experience it was! Anthony (GM and Head-Chef) has really turned that place around!

It was a full restaurant on a Friday evening, and the atmosphere had a great vibe. Happy conversations and clinking of silverware could be heard throughout the dining room. The staff and service was awesome! They were very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all, had a sense of urgency. Everyone was hustling!

And the food...good gracious. That was hands-down the BEST steak I have ever had from a restaurant, ever! Although the price tags might be a bit steep upon first glance, the whole dining experience was well-worth it. After 15 years of my own experience in food-service, I don't say this lightly!

Porterhouse is reclaiming it's stand as a fine-dining restaurant, and my family and I will definitely be going back!“

The duck taters were good but greasy, but deliciosu. Would come back again, but would order something else.“

She explain everything to us and how we miss the deal but thats was ok. My issue is it was hard finding parking to eat here. So beware of finding a place to park. However, the food is great and will come again.“

“I attended their Crawfish Festival today. From the day I bought my ticket to spending the day with them today Chris and his staff did an excellent job. I felt like family amongst them. You could tell that all staff really enjoyed what they were doing today. I will be back sometime soon to try the BBQ.“

“Nice brewery! Had two beers while here; a lager and a hazy IPA: both were solid for their style. Arrived during a Dawgs game, and still found a spot despite it being the season opener. There’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and the space itself feels more like a sports bar than a brewery. I have some friends who dislike this place so I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the beer. The line is also well managed and moves quickly even when there’s a good amount of customers in line. I wouldn’t say it’s worth visiting by itself but if you’re in Athens it’s worth checking out.“

“Solid brewery! Ample seating in a nice clean space. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean. The live music for tonight was great! There were only a few of us inside but they were a fun bunch. Good amount of parking out front and had no trouble finding a spot. I’m not sure where you'd park though if this place was packed. You walk right into the gift shop when you enter, and the taproom is directly to the left. Overall, a solid experience made more enjoyable by the clientele and music at the time.“

I work a 4 week on / 4 week off schedule so I’m only home half the year; and we go here 2-4 times every time I’m home.. food is always fresh and amazing… Management is in a class of their own and shows with their employees and amazing customer service!! A+++ 5 star!!“

“This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. This was our third attempt to give them a chance. Horrible service on first try. Horrible food on the second try and abysmal health rating on the third try. Done and done.“
