We had a hamburger (cooked perfectly - 5 Stars) and a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich which was delicious - 5 Stars). Beautiful building. Hope you enjoy my pictures. Very relaxing place to go. “We miss the deal but we were okay with that. We try the food and it was good. The chicken was cripsy. The waiter was nice and ask us if this was our first time which it was. She explain everything to us and how we miss the deal but thats was ok. My issue is it was hard finding parking to eat here. So beware of finding a place to park. However, the food is great and will come again.“

“We approached Terrapin and noticed a large parking lot, which made things easy. We found a space pretty quickly and walked over to the property. We could see that they had a Día de los Muertos festival going on. We found the main entrance and stepped inside. I was thrown off at first by how empty and quiet it was. The first thing I noticed was a small souvenir shop near the front. We continued to walk in a little farther and found the main bar area with all the taps lined up and the wall covered in signs listing their rotating beer selections. We asked the staff behind the counter if they offered flights. Although they don't do traditional flights, they do have a special where you could choose six 6-ounce pours and you get to keep your choice of Terrapin glassware. Wifey and I each picked three beers each from the rotating menu. We chose everything from a Wheat to a Stout. We scooped our beers and headed out to the outside seating area where the festival was in full swing. As we started sipping our beers, we enjoyed most of our choices and the great weather. Then a few bees started hanging around, and unfortunately, a couple even dove into our beers. I took them back inside, let the staff know what happened, and they replaced them right away with no hesitation. We hung out outside for a little while longer, finished our beers, and enjoyed the weather and festival activities. As we were leaving, I noticed a small stage setup. So I am sure they have live music here as well. Overall, a very good first visit to the Terrapin Brewery in Athens. We will definitely come back to try some other options.“

“The food and service were fantastic! The coffee wasn’t the best, but that isn’t what I went for. The staff is TOP NOTCH! Don’t go by the online menu though; it is completely outdated! I read the menu link on trip advisor when choosing the restaurant and it was very misleading. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience! Would go again!“

I work a 4 week on / 4 week off schedule so I’m only home half the year; and we go here 2-4 times every time I’m home.. food is always fresh and amazing… Management is in a class of their own and shows with their employees and amazing customer service!! “This place is doomed to fail. Ordered takeout and noticed the health rating as wife left with food. A glorious 85! Needless to say, food was tossed in the garbage and we will never return. This was our third attempt to give them a chance. Horrible service on first try. Horrible food on the second try and abysmal health rating on the third try. Done and done.“

“Came in for a little brekkie while on spring break with my kiddo. Absolute gem. We were greeted by the warmest, most genuine “good morning!!!” From what I am assuming to be one of the managers. Set the tone immediately. Aesthetically it was adorable, food was delicious and tasted real… not like the chain restaurants. Menu had little quips and fun food facts which really invites you in. Devon our server was fabulous, easy going, not rushing around. Definite must try in Athens!“

“The assistant manager working there was absolutely amazing !! She was so helpful with our group in giving recommendations on what to do in the area. They have a cute little outdoor area with mini golf and seating. The food wasn’t bad I got just the steak quesadilla nothing special about it. Everyone else really enjoyed their food! We went around 3 so no one else was there so the food was super quick.“
