“Had a wonderful experience with my husband at Bread & Butterfly this morning/afternoon for brunch! Food was amazing, atmosphere was inviting and service was impeccable!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

“I came to Hot Cafe twice in one week—that’s how good it was.

First visit: I ordered the chicken pho and wow… the broth alone was amazing, almost giving ramen vibes. I also tried the fried chicken wings and the flavor was on point.

Second visit: My cousin got the red coconut curry tofu and it was absolutely amazing. I had the pineapple chicken fried rice, and once again—the flavor did not disappoint.

The Thai tea was great, though I do wish there were a dairy-free option since it’s made with half-and-half. That said, I don’t even like bananas, but their banana egg roll dessert was scrumptious.

The atmosphere is no-frills, but the customer service is a solid 10/10. Friendly, welcoming, and consistent food quality.

“It's a new place that is in a place that wasn't for me. No hate, but I don't think to-go floppy pasta is necessary.

My initial and full review is me via ordering mobile and picking it up. I've watched the space change and have gotten interested. A person from Atlanta, older than me, said it was worth it. So, of course.

I ordered mobile, as I was taking MARTA to do some shopping at Publix and it's THERE at 8pm. Perfect. I ordered when in a different MARTA station and it was ready when I arrived.

Here's the best part: I was new, so almost like a dummy, I waited in line and got to appreciate the decor and the atmosphere and the conversations the group of people ordering ahead of me when I walked in.

Half way through I figured out, via taking in the space, that I could walk to the end part of the counter to pick up my mobile order, but at this point I was all in. I genuinely enjoyed taking time to overhear orders and looking at the case of incredible things, and how orders were taken.

Of course my drink was ready and I got pointed to five feet beyond, but my iced beverage was excellent and kept in a fridge, cause they probably had it made 10 minutes before and my ask for extra ice mattered. Also, I have feelings about how much half & half places add to my coffee order. Just the perfect amount. Obviously one can order without or say/ask for something specific, but I wanted to see what they'd do as default and it was exact.

I need this place to keep being a thing. I loved it.

Since then, I’ve visited many times, and it’s become one of my favorite cozy neighborhood spots. The sandwiches are consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The family who owns and runs the café is genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly hard-working. Especially in this harsh economy, it’s clear they put their heart and effort into what they do and truly care about their customers and community.

“The food and coffee here is really tasty! My boyfriend and I had a chai, cappuccino, spicy potato empanadas, and kouign Amman between us. Everything was really good, but the prices are on the high side. I would definitely go back, but not frequently!“

“Absolutely great customer service and excellent food and coffee! Came after the Taylor Swift Concert and the place was hoppin’! The staff were all awesome and friendly even with how busy they were. The coffee was excellent, Lavender Haze on the Taylor’s menu was chefs kiss! They were even kind enough to make my 8 year old a Taylor’s version hot chocolate with a little lavender in it! “I ordered a devil's food cake for my husband's birthday last week and Yamesia absolutlely delivered. I had a hard time finding a baker who knew what a devil's food cake was. Not the case with Yamesia. The cake was delicious, moist with true deep chocolate flavor. The icing was light and not overly sweet. We had a sheet cake and usually there is cake left over at most of the parties I have attended in the last few years. This is my forever cake artist, decorator and baker. Kudos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“The service was stellar! The gentleman preparing the food was extraordinarily patient, going above and beyond to ensure that all of my questions were answered and that I was comfortable with my food choices. He seemed to truly care.

Food was great! I appreciated the many organic ingredients and the plethora of clean menu options. Would have loved more fruit in my acai bowl but the granola made up for it. Egg sandwich was good but would have been better hot.

I will say that it's better than Smoothie King and some of the other big name brands that we are accustomed to. If you're ever in the area stop by and grab a Boozie Smoothie. Moreover, I always love how many people are also here near midnight with a slice and coffee in-hand, especially on those random weeknights. No parking validation offered, we parked for 2 hours and went Nextdoor to sweet hut and bought something to validate there but still cost $11 because they only discount parking. No bathroom but you can use the one at the office building next door which was super clean / convenient. Limited ish seating depending on time of day.“

Gabriel was great with providing information to me on how to care for our new espresso machine while also being super chill and understanding with all the questions that I asked him. “Beautiful space, delicious BLAT sandwich ($22). I got the Americano ($6) which was just fine. Pricey but nice place to work for a few hours. I walked past Einsteins Bagels to come here knowing I would pay more to work in a more pleasant place. WiFi didn’t connect but used the anywair WiFi.“
