“Amazing food and even better prices! My mother found another place that makes a mean Long Island Iced Tea so she chooses to eat here a lot. Everything has been phenomenal. I love the Pad Thai with coconut soup, all the hibachi items, and the sushi was fresh and flavorful-bagel roll for raw and shrimp tempura sushi for cooked. Good smokey flavor in the bagel roll-really yummy. I enjoy the shu mai dumplings and the Chinese dishes have their own unique flavors-I still have a lot of the menu to go thru. Probably going to get tangerine chicken, hot and sour soup, and marinated beef sticks next time😃“

“I love the family owned feel of this place. The staff are always nice and the food is consistently good. I saw a younger employee that works here celebrate his birthday with his entire family here. To me, that speaks volumes about the owners if an employee wants to celebrate their birthday at their workplace. Bravo!“

“I have been ordering china wok for years, and I have always said that they are the best on Winder. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are amazing. I have to write a review after all these years because on Christmas Day myself and 4 other families ordered in and unfortunately made a mistake and did not pack two of our fried rices. I called the restaurant and let them know and although it is the Busiest day of the year for them they still made it right and delivered the missing fried rice within 20 minutes. “One of our top spots to visit when we are feeling Chinese and my oh my, let me tell you about the SpIcy Honey Glazed Beef I ordered?! Oh yea I tore. It. Up. It was delicious in all the best ways possible, the beef cooked to perfection, the vegetables were such a nice touch, but star has got to be the sauce. Sweet & spicy & flavorful. I get Mu Shu beef typically, I ask them to go light on the sauce, it was really salty otherwise, but I am salt sensitive so it might just be me ?‍♀️? but when they go light on the sauce, it’s perfect and one of the best places I’ve gotten this dish from. I do highly recommend them.“

“Food here is excellent! It’s my new favorite place to grab sushi. Their Chinese is phenomenal also! The wife and kids love coming here and enjoying a good meal together. The staff is super friendly and the manager is always walking around and checking in. They bring out little cakes at the end (which are so tasty). “Was in town for work and wanted something quick. Since my motel had a fridge and microwave picked up enough for dinner for 2 nights. Had Mongolian beef, massaman curry, and crab rations. I went to location to order although you can order online. I waited less than 10 minutes. Food was good and amount was reasonable for price“

“Their Wednesday price cost me less than $7. That was an excellent price for a buffet. 👍The buffet was advertised as $5.99, but I only got water and it cost $6.70. I don't know where the other charges came from, but I didn't argue about it.

Their General Tso's, House Chicken, Mongolian, Ginger, and Rangoon were delicious.
I was unimpressed by the cabbage egg rolls.

They open at 11 am, but I would recommend coming in at 12pm or later to give them time to set everything up.

Their Men's bathroom is tricky. I couldn't find the light switch. It is up against the wall. If you face the door, from the inside of the bathroom, it is all the way against the wall on your left.“

“My wife and I have been eating here since the day they opened. It is family owned and family run. Food was so so when it first opened. But the food improved all the time to where it’s excellent now. Service is great and have they messed up our order. Thank you for the good food and great service.“

I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. I took the picture when we were almost done because it was so delicious, I forgot to take a picture at the beginning.“

“I ordered a bunch of food from here on DoorDash. Sesame chicken with steamed rice was flavorful and delicious!!! Also got the pork lo mein and requested no veggies since it was for my son. It came out really good! Sooo many dumplings in the wonton soup!!! The only item I didn’t care for was the bourbon chicken. It’s very traditional with the red dye added to their marinade which I didn’t like. Egg roll was perfectly cooked. Was not oily or greasy like other people mentioned in their review. I will definitely order from here again.“

We’ll let me just say Friends House is the only Chinese food that has come close to feeling like home. We love the beef and broccoli, pork fried rice and so many other things. “Always a good experience here. Had a young girl at the drive thru today around 12 noon on the speaker who forgot my sauces. I went back to get them and she put the sauces in my hand aggressively like she was upset that I told her that she forgot my sauce. Please if possible, let her know that I didn’t mean it any type of way or that I wasn’t rudely telling her she forgot. I just let her know because she asked before she gave me my food and genuinely seemed to forget she asked. Other than this experience, I always had a good interaction with the workers here.“

“I placed an order for 11 different dishes, and unfortunately, I didn’t receive what I ordered in several of them. For example, I ordered chow mein, but instead, I got white rice. This happened with several other dishes as well. The quality of the food was good, but the confusion with the orders was quite frustrating. I hope they can improve accuracy in the future.“
