Surprisingly the beef with tender melt in your mouth instead of fatty/tough/salty like I expected from other substandard buffets I'd become accustomed to. Chinese buffets have low bars of mediocrity, abut this humble small town family owned & operated buffet restaurant was a delightful suprise. And with tax, this smorgasbord came to just $11.50.. And the look on the face of the kind waitress who was so amazed and so appreciative that I had tipped her! Finding this local eatery was a GEM! We were told that it might be hard to get in but we came early and was able to get a seat at the bar! Front door parking (and other parking behind too if you need it).We ordered the Crab Cakes (a bit pricey but we'll worth it considering it is 90% lump), the seafood tower( Oysters,Giant Prawns, Lobster Claw Meat, Lump Crab, you can choose 3 or 4 items, the Chilean Sea Bass( cooked perfectly) and Potatoes, oh and the GUMBEAUX, was really good, the first okra they put on top, I should've ordered on the side. We did order the Lamb Chops but there was a temperature issue, but it was fixed immediately.We weren't expecting the Manager April to stop by to Apologize for a couple of mishaps, but the experience was so good that we didn't even care.This waitress Montine stopped by when we first got I and was offering suggestions, she even stopped by later to see how we enjoyed it. She heard her name and she was on it!A patron dropped some money in the bathroom, another patron brought it to a Manager who brought it to the patron they thought! “I’m new to the area, so I decided to try some local establishments. First on deck? Sam’s on Main Mediterranean restaurant. It was okay. We had to move twice because the air conditioning was blowing directly on us and creating an uncomfortable dining experience. Once reseated in a decent location, we ordered appetizers which came out really quickly (fried green tomatoes and calamari). Both were delicious! Our server was nice enough, (a young man whose name escapes me, but I think he’s a member of the family who owns the restaurant) anyway, aside from him, we felt sense a little unease from other patrons and staff due to our race. I’m never one to play the race card, but, you could sense “we” don’t frequent this establishment often or something, because my friend who arrived before I did mentioned the looks and unwelcome reaction she received when she entered. I felt it, but the way my confidence level is setup, I could care less what anybody thinks or feels about me, and wish somebody would say something inappropriate while I’m out spending my hard earned money. But, I digress. Suffice it to say, there were noticeable racial overtones. Some subtle, some not so subtle, but, overall it wasn’t too uncomfortable to leave, but definitely worth noting. The food was good. I had a gyro with the house potatoes (great choice), and my friend had the lamb burger (she said the party was too small for the price) with fries. The taste and quality of the food earned them 5 stars. The service would get a 3.5, because the waiter did not come back and check on us frequently, nor did he bring needed items in a timely manner—napkins, ketchup, water refills, etc. We enjoyed the meal and the fellowship with one another, but honestly probably won’t be back. Perhaps a to go order? Perhaps.“

So tried this place was reasonably priced and about same price as what fast food charges. Food was filling, place was nice inside and seemed like a nice communial place to gather. Besides the fact that their Cuban is not really from Cuba like the menu states it was still delicious and the fact that it was bogo night for wraps made it better. “This restaurant is in the Kroger shopping center. We prefer it because the food is consistently good with great service. They can make adjustments to what you like, for instance I asked for "shrimp with broccoli" which is not on the menu. Also, everything we tried so far is not salty like some other places. I have been to numerous Chinese restaurants all over the United States and the world while living in the U.S. and traveling for over 30 years. I would rate this Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant of Dacula amongst the best I have come across anywhere. The owners of this Restaurant not only make delicious food but are very courteous and friendly. Most of my orders are ready within 10 minutes. I would strongly recommend that you try their Shrimp fried rice, curry chicken, fried chicken wings, beef with mushroom, pepper steak, etc etc. I could go on and on, but anyway they do serve hot and generous portions of excellent food at very reasonable and affordable prices. A+++ and 5.0/5.0 is my rating for this restaurant and the mother and daughter duo that run this restaurant. Thanks to them, my lunchtime is a joy most of the time during my busy days.??“

I was in a very depressed mood because I had an upsetting incident with someone else earlier in the day.
