On November 19th, 2023, Golden Krust for Thanksgiving week served free plates to hundreds of people/customers. The jerk chicken, rice & beans, cabbage, and yams were so tasty and delicious! The staff was courteous, patient, and professional! This was certainly a moment of giving back to the community. All you had to do was sign up for the event and get tickets to come pick up plates. I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience. It appears that the dish I ordered lacks flavor, as if there was a shortage of spices. Moreover, the portion of oxtails served was surprisingly small, and even the rice was tasteless. Additionally, the cabbage was undercooked and raw. I wonder if there has been a change in the kitchen staff or any other significant alteration. This has been a regrettable waste of money.
