“My husband and I were out running errands and we got hungry so we popped in to Popeyes for a chicken sandwich meal #1. The drinks were fresh and bubbly, the fries were good, the chicken sandwich was a bit disappointing. It was pretty dry, it seemed cooked earlier and then when we ordered the reheated it..we always have the best service at this location and we always enjoy the food, today was just an off day..“

“My humble food reviewFries - Starting off slightly inconsistent with seasoning, but where it lacks in consistency it makes up for pure flavor. The blend of spices makes for a pleasant taste with perfect temperatures all around. A slight crisp on the exterior with a fluffy interior. A select few fries seemed to be flaccid however they were still delectable. While enjoyable in several ways, I did notice varying lengths in size with a handful of fries being extremally small.Chicken tenders - Starting off with a light and crispy exterior with a pleasing flavor around the board. Subtleties of pepper improve the the taste immensely, a thought I immediately conjured was ”this was much juicier than I expected” which boded well. I will add that consistencies with the tenders differs, and I found that the juice caused some tenders to become slightly soggy which is one thing I did not expect. One positive was the quantity of tenders, while you can simply order more or less, 6 tenders were surprising inexpensive.Bread - I didn’t expect much from the bread, nor was I surprised. Temperature: cold, texture: soggy, flavor: ok, and because of a filling meal beforehand, simply attempting to eat it was a challenge, but a challenge I would make light work of, and becoming full before the meal is finished could be seen as a good thing.Coleslaw - NoDrink - A large Dr. Pepper which shouldn't be a surprise. With 23 blended spices, Dr Pepper is a go to for soft drinks alike. Dr. Pepper is great. ?“
