“My wife and I come to Blue Ridge every year. We decided to go to Grace for my 33rd birthday tonight. Hands down the best food I have ever had. We had the filets with a side of creamed corn and broccolini (Chef’s treat). They also gave me a couple of special treats for my birthday and I can assure you I won’t forget the kind gesture. We’ve been a couple times now and every single dish has been on point. The flavor, the comfort, the hospitality — it’s that real Southern mix we’ve been missing. “This restaurant is fabulous, I have never had an issue until yesterday. I ordered the pabellon criollo plate which comes with sweet plantains. I also ordered a side of fried yuca and a side of avocados. When I got my meal, the sweet plantains were missing and my sides also. I explained to our waitress that I did not get the plantains nor my side dish. She apologized and brought them out to me. When I went to pay, I was charged for the plantains that should have been included in my meal. I explained this to her, but she kept arguing back that no it was extra which it wasn’t. I didn’t argue anymore and just paid it. $4.99 extra, which really $5.00 was not worth arguing for. But the principle of it! Like I said, the food is wonderful and we never had an issue until this. Makes me not want to go back. What a shame.”

“This place is huge!!’ Finally found a great apple orchard. We drove here from Salem,SC just for the Stayman Winesap & crimson Christ. The young lady with red hair in the bakery was super nice and very helpful”

“Reservation one month in advance for patio ,asked hostess if that was it out front. Waited 35 minutes she then went to seat us inside, we said outside please waited waited at least 20 more minutes, then 10 more to be greeted. ,med rare 16 oz. Ribeye,was very rare. Potatoes good. G.m.approached every table but ours. I still tipped 20 percent to server, not all her fault. . Never again”

“Hands down THE Best bbq joint in Blue Ridge! I had the mushroom burger & hubby had the pulled pork! The potato salad was AMAZING and tasted straight from the farm to grandmas kitchen. All 4 of my kids had something different on the menu & there was nothing left on any of our plates.. we will definitely be back!”

“What a great choice for our first restaurant in Blue Ridge! Our server, Tracy was great and the food was really good! I had to order The Chub because I loved grilled bologna sandwiches as a kid and it was a very nostalgic, fun and delicious choice! My husband enjoyed The Firehouse and we had the yummy deep fried deviled eggs as a starter.”

“We go to Chester's fairly often and can recommend it highly. It's super popular and takes no reservations, so having to wait is no fun. But once you're seated, the service is friendly and quick, the fast-casual food is delicious, and the price moderate. Why is Chesters's popular, crowded and successful? Because its formula is sure-fire and executed well.”

“The Sweet Shoppe baked our wedding cake and WOW. Just wow! It was honestly exactly what we wanted as far as appearance. But the taste!?! We were all blown away! We ordered a simple vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, but this was next level! Everyone got a second piece of cake and EVERYONE talked about how perfect the flavor was. How you take the flavor of a simple vanilla cake to that level of perfection, I’ll never know. The texture was amazing as well! Very moist and light, but also fairly dense! I told my husband he absolutely has to take me by their bakery for cupcakes before we leave Blue Ridge! We will 100% use The Sweet Shoppe again! A truly exceptional experience!!!”

“I have made this my Friday pizza spot. 5 weeks in a row I ordered pizza and salad take out. Its ready when I arrive. The pizza is delicious. Toppings are fresh. Sauce and cheese nice ratio, not over done. Keep up the consistently good food!”

“Good food, friendly people! The prices advertised are not accurate though, just a heads up. Our total before tax should have been a little less than $22. The total ended up being over $35 with their card fees and I left a couple dollars for tip so it was very expensive for what it is, IMO as a local. Make sure you ask for prices when you order. The board has paper on it showing modified prices but those are. It accurate either. The food is cooked to order and very fresh though. I would still recommend, just watch the pricing.”

“We LOVED our experience today! Paige and Harper were amazing hosts! We smelled almost every tea they have! Paige was extremely knowledgeable! We ordered about ten different iced drinks! We also bought quite a few ounces of loose tea, of multiple flavors! We love all of her suggestions. We even came back an hour later, for a few hot tea selections! We are visiting from Florida, and can't wait to go back!”

“OK, what can I say? It’s waffle House it’s a saving grace. They’re always open and they are the indicator in Florida whether or not that there’s a hurricane gonna be so powerful that you should leave. It’s amazing. This was Christmas eve night or Christmas Day night that’s right that we went. It was the only place open and it was jammed, but other than that hashbrowns are wonderfulgrilled cheese with bacon, but it may hurt you the next day, but it is a great place. that’s always open and once or twice a year it’s fantastic.”

“Great experience, as always! Our server Casey was fantastic, she went above and beyond! Food was amazing. We’ve had almost everything on the menu and are never disappointed. You get a very warm and cozy feeling while being here. If I can saying anything negative, the Hostess could use some training to understand they make the first impression when someone walks in that door. We were greeted by 2 and they weren’t the most welcoming, I don’t like feeling like I’m bothering someone when I walk into an establishment. Other than those minuscule 20 seconds, 5 stars everywhere else!”
