“I have been to Outback before. I have eaten steak. I have had servers. But I have never experienced anything quite like Joseph.

We arrived as a large, chaotic group, completely unaware that we were about to witness something extraordinary. Then Joseph appeared.

At first, I thought he was simply our server. I was wrong.

Joseph was kind. Joseph was attentive. Joseph was funny. Joseph navigated our table with the precision of a man defusing a bomb while simultaneously keeping us entertained. Drinks appeared. Questions were answered. Laughter echoed across the table.

And then there was the humor.

I genuinely cannot remember everything Joseph said because I was too busy laughing, but I do remember thinking: This man was born for this.

He was also, unfortunately for the rest of the restaurant staff, extremely handsome. Like, distractingly handsome. The kind of handsome where you suddenly forget what appetizer you ordered.

By the end of the meal, I realized something devastating:

I did not want to leave.

Not because of the steak. Not because of the Bloomin’ Onion.

Because Joseph had created an experience.

If Outback is a movie, Joseph is the lead actor, the director, the producer, and somehow the comic relief. Give this man an award. Give him a raise. Give him his own restaurant.
